If I understand correctly, this is all custom GMK colors? I'm asking because I would like to mix and match with other sets that I have like Dolch and classic beige but that doesn't look like it will work.

Only the Hagoromo Alphas have CP from the GMK standard colors as their base color. Everything else is custom, yes.

Beige legends are custom this time (matched to GAL from SP), in R1 they were L9 from GMK's standard colors.

The RAMA Aluminium Git cap will be available on June 10th for ONE WEEK (please note that this means it will end before the keyset drop itself does!). I believe it will cost about 40$ like the Jamon Rama caps did.

$516 for everything I wanted, at current drop points. That's what I get for wanting different options in mods. X(

Git and Regular mod base kits are just about 50/50, with monochrome and assembly at just a quarter of those numbers. I'm not surprised at assembly, but I am a little surprised at monochrome being lowish. It makes sense, though, considering similar keysets like modern dolch, dolch, gmk monochrome, honeywell etc.

Might also go for the Vim set if it reaches 250...definitely if it hits 500.

Considering Serika and Olivia have been all but confirmed for r2, those sets might have already achieved their max flip potential. Quite possibly all downhill from here.

Yes.  But don't edit your order, just cancel it and place a new one.  Modification can lead to payment issues, especially with PayPal.

Reading through the warning about PayPal, it looks like it's only an issue if you want to add more to the same order? In any case, I'll check again near the end of the buy and adjust my payment method if necessary.

Probably best not to use Paypal for those reasons, but if that's some folks only option, I can understand.

I think most people know that payment problems are just a given by now, when any preauthorized value changes. I had the failed payment issue when paying by credit card, as well.

I believe the main issue with Paypal is that Paypal will reject your order if your final order value is greater than the original amount that was already preauthorized with Paypal. But if you dont modify your order and price drops occur and you end up with a cheaper order value, theres usually no issues with Paypal.

This might be the wrong place to ask... but, would you ever consider running a mod kit same color as the alphas?  I'm going to end up with a couple orphan sets of the alphas in this colorway between this and space cadet.  I think a grey monochrome set would be nice (I know the legends are different colors between the two sets).

There are no proxies, sorry. Personally I've never had an issue with a (Mass)drop order. I paid VAT on import and a small handling fee to DHL and it gets dropped off at my door (Germany).

I am from Belgium and last time I ordered a keycap set from (Mass)Drop I had to pay VAT, import fees and handling fees ending up paying double for the set - whatever passes the 120 euros value is subject to import fees and unless it's coming from Aliexpress nobody is willing to declare a lower value on the package - the state makes and wastes enough money off our backs to also pick on keycap sets!

I would definitely buy, I want to buy the kit but not through Mass(Drop). It's a bit sideways - you are based in Germany, GMK is based in Germany, many of us wanting this are based in Europe and we have to order through an American website paying fees, taxes and waiting for the kits to traverse the ocean twice to get them!

Someone could probably ask for permission from Oblotzky to run something like that in the future, as it's obviously too late now. The only question is if there's enough demand for it to hit moq. Given the saturation of gmk group buys and the failure of even popular sets like Carbon to reach moq on all kits, I think the likelihood is slim.

Already 10$ off for Hagoromo Alphas, and the Git and Regular Base Kits are getting 20$ and 15$ shaved off next week when they hit 500 units. Not that bad IMO. Some vendors don't do price breaks at all due to complexity/fees of partial refunds.

This would be my first GB over drop (as the set, especially git is superb  ) - so there is no way to get this sent from GMK instead of shipping it from germany to the us and back ? ... which would be ... just sensless and ridiculous

The set would need to be sold through a EU vendor or be shipped from within EU by Drop itself after they collected VAT. GMK couldn't just send it to you as no VAT would have been collected on that item. The shipping from EU part is being developed currently by Drop, they've opened a EU warehouse (or probably contracted a logistics company rather) from which they are starting to ship single SKU products. It remains to be seen if this will be expanded towards more complex drops where sorting orders is required.
