Empty fridge, full stomach :p
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Drinking in a random yard after dark. This yard last night had a teeny tiny park and a pond.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Being so close yet so far to having my own mill in my garage.  This is the hardest wait I have had yet on this site.  I have probably 2 months or so until I have all the funds for the purchase.

I will be getting the Sherline 2000 with factory installed DRO.  Then it will be time to start saving up for material to build a good proper table for it.  I am thinking 1/2" thick ground aluminum plate with 1/2" x 2" bar stock on edge around the bottom perimiter of the plate with a strip running down the middle both directions with 3"x3"x1/4"ish aluminum angle for legs.  Not sure what to use for cross bracing yet.  Though I do want to build a shelf/drawer into it for storage of tools/cutters/parts pieces.

WINDOWS 2000 MAKES ME HAPPY.

Windows 2000 was nice.  In some ways I prefer it over Windows XP.

why were you banned from it?

It was a Le Mans series run in Gran Turismo 6, each season would span about 7 months and the races would be about an hour or so long

Kind of a long story, but after I won the championship we went into the next season with new cars, I went from having the slowest to one of the fastest and so did another driver. This driver spent the whole (almost) of the first race basically making sure I couldn't get the win and then 2nd place.
After the race I confronted him, and posted it publicly so everyone could see that he clearly he intended to ruin my race and then posted a video of the race with the BBC Grandstand music. It might not mean much to anyone who dsn't play GT6 much but it shows him crashing into me several times... it also shows him smashing me into a wall... him bouncing off onto the grass and then accelerating on the grass so that he can t-bone me at the following hairpin.
I said either he has a race ban or I leave the championship as I didn't want to play bumper cars... I then got perma banned.

He now leads the championship, 80-90% of the league has left, races have barely happened (from what I can gather) and people have said it's worse without me being around... :D

My happiest moments usually start at 8am when i get home from work. I pour a cup of coffee and sit at my desk. I look through my rack of keyboards and pick the one i feel like using that day. Ill usually throw on a new set or a couple new artisans and fire up a video game. After an hour or two the sun will begin to fully shine into my room and i pull out the nikon to work on some shots until i pass out. When i wake up i eat and check my notebook and get to work on casting until i have to leave for work again. That is a perfect day

What makes me happy?

when people pay attention to me.
