Sorry to hear that you have not received your keys yet. They are absolutely worth waiting for though.
The customs were interested in my keys too. They wanted $105 in taxes to release them :/

Sure did. No choice if I wanted to get the keys.
Though it actually was not more than the keys.

The picture might be misleading. There is multiple sets in that pile.
My keycap addiction is very severe. I almost always buy more that one set.
That way it don't feel as bad when using them. I always have a set that is in mint condition.

Yes, I am waiting for them too and I also believe customs has them.

I can almost guarantee you they will tax it as they got shipments to at least two different people in the same city coming from one person which reeks commercial, and god help us if the customs form is marked the original price as thats easily another $20.

Also, I asked for the customs form to be marked down a few pages into this thread but aggiejy never responded which I should have followed up on.

Now I see people receiving it in a box instead of a large bubble mailer which is the preferred method to ship internationally.
You might as well just put a sign on it saying TAX ME.

Hopefully I am wrong and CP is just taking its usual sweet time but now that the Tai Hao GB is $8 for a 104/DS set, it will really sting if we get zapped at customs.

Mine cleared Canada Customs this morning @ 1am according to the e-mail I received from the USPS website so tomorrow is the latest I expect to receive the rain.

Received them about a half hour ago at work.

PHEW

Inspite of the box being marked with the full US$87, it managed to not get taxed.
Hopefully, the other person from Toronto has the same to report.

FYI for future group buys being shipped to Canada, mark it less than US$20 [use cent values as well] and they cant legally tax us and it looks a lot less suspicious.

Will advise if any missing keys found.
Didnt clue in to what it was from the pic on the first page but the sticker on the side of the shipping box was a nice touch

Tell me about it! Note through the door on Saturday saying they won't deliver the parcel until I pay taxes - £23.68!!! Next group buy hopefully I can convince the sender to put it down as a gift because that adds like 30% to the cost of the set, and sets aren't exactly cheap to start with.

Now I just have to wait for my second Filco to arrive and I'll see what they look like on a real board. Obviously I've already had them laid out on the table deciding where to put all the different special keys

If history repeats itself, it seems like popular sets (in high demand) repeat themselves a year or so later. Just takes someone with the means and desire to run a group buy to step up. (Not for the faint of heart, people lacking in time, or people worried about the possibility of losing money.) But surely someone will come along eventually if demand is there. If so, hopefully it's not an exact copy, but instead some improvements to keep things fresh. Maybe a slightly different shade, etc.
