I was just informed that it will be 2.5 weeks before the caps can be made and sent to production. I'm not sure if the 2.5 weeks is in addition to the 3-4 weeks production or if that falls into the normal 3-4 weeks to make them. I asked today so I could update you. I'm hoping the latter so that we can stick to the rough timeline I laid out. I'd love to have the in everyone's hands before the new year.

Edit: He said it will be 2.5 weeks til the caps will go into production, so we're right on track.

I'm still waiting on an update from Dan (Sleabo) about the status of the caps being made for the UV printing. I hit him up on the 2nd, the 7th, and again today to see if he has a response. I've been pushing him along to try and get an answer from the places making the caps so we can get this done. I really want to get this done before Christmas since it looks like we're now behind schedule.

Still no set date that I've heard. Some might be going to the printer soon, but I'm waiting to be invoiced and haven't been given any set production dates.

Is QWERkeys still not answering? It's been a few weeks that we've been waiting for a schedule. Do they say anything at all about what's the problem?

Is Dan still doing this, given that QWERkeys has a new management?

Dan's still handling it. It's moving forward slowly, but still no idea where in the process we are. I believe printing on some of them is starting, but not all of the caps have been delivered yet. It's slowly getting there.

Any chance on an official wait list? I posted on this thread earlier and at least one other person has since about buying extras or unclaimed sets. It'd be nice to keep request order rather than a free for all at the end if there are any left.

All the sets are spoken for and paid for. If there are any extras, I'll be putting them up for sales in the classifieds to try and cover any losses I may take on this GB.

Payment has been sent off and most of the caps have been sent off for printing. I was going to update when all the caps had been sent off for printing, but might as well update you now. Last he told me, he was still waiting for some of the white caps to come in so they could be sent off to be printed, but all the other colors have been sent off for printing. Odds are we're looking at a January shipping date from me right now. I wish it was sooner since I really wanted it done and shipped already.

Sorry this process is taking so long. Believe me, I want this done and over as much as you do. There's been a lot of pushing and prodding for timeline updates and where we are in the process and so on.

they are all being shipped to me, as soon as i get them ill let you know, nubs has the line of communication with them so he can probably answer better than me, but im sure the answer will be soonish and not much more specific than that until about shipping time

Good to hear, please take a look at our vendor forum thread. we are looking for a ton of new designs, anything goes really. So long as it meets our new Moq requirements.
We will also have to review our pricing but won't be too much more - we did this at minimal profit to get the first group but done and learn from it.

So good news and bad news and potentially good news again.

First the good news. I got the caps today and sorted them and I just need to box or bag them for shipping next weekend.

Now the bad news. Some sets were completely missing and others were missing one cap from the set. I tried to cover what I could from my own personal order of a handful of caps, but that wasn't enough. Most of the caps that were missing were the "leaf" caps. If you're missing caps from your order, you can expect a message from me in short order to seek a resolution. I also contacted Dan (Sleabo) of Qwerkeys to see if there were any extras and to alert him of the fact that the order came up short.

And potential good news again. Since most of the caps that were missing were "leaf" caps, I may try my hand at crafting a "leaf" cap that can be double cast. I will attempt to replicate the color from your order on a 1:1 basis, meaning I'll be making 16 of the damn buggers at no extra cost for those of you missing them.

Everyone with a non-"Leaf" cap problem will also be getting one of my cast caps of my random choice as a sorry for the inconvenience gift.
