Everything looks great! I still remember the 2002 world cup when I was 5!

Is it possible to have a deskmat where the background is white instead of black and the black lines on the flag can be done in black? I think that would look great and look like the flag.

Hi all,

Thank you for your patience. Kits have been finalized and we are awaiting quotes from GMK, as well as updated keyboard renders.

Kits

Changelog:
- Changed R3 1.75u Control text to icon for more consistent look with lefthand mods
- Changed F-row Lock to Scroll
- Removed 00 key since standalone numpads are pretty rare overall
- Removed 2nd Tab and extra ALT keys from Hangul kit to keep cost down
- Hangul kit legend size/weight have been revised to be more in line with cherry standards
- Added 1u and 1.25u blanks to Spacebars kit, as well as a 2nd mono ㅠ key

Deskmat

The deskmat poll was overwhelmingly in favor of the black background (4:1), so that's what we'll be moving forward with. However, I found myself missing the white, so I've added the trigrams which I think gives it that much needed finishing touch.

Salvun Artisan

I realized that a copper artisan might get a bit lost with an all red set, so I've changed the base metal to aluminum for maximum visibility. The black will be anodized. Thanks to konstantin for pointing this out. Again, below is a placeholder image which will be replaced once Salvun provides a photograph of the actual sample!

And for the final piece of news, I submitted two designs for a 2nd RAMA artisan and I'm having trouble deciding between the two, so I'm running another poll. Please go here to vote for your preference between the two options below:

Oh, I liked the copper one, but never mind. Alu will be less expensive, isn't it?

I am not sure how Salvun artisan will look like in real, but is it similar to rama artisan? I mean will dokkaebi in flat design or 'cut in groove'(=sculpted?). I want to fill dokkaebi with white enamel paint.

A white deskmat would get dirty very easily.

Hi all,

First up in updates today, Option 1 has won out over Option 2 by a factor of 3-2, so we will proceed with Option 1:





Second and more importantly, I'm considering changing the style of the mods to traditional icon+text!

Now, I know this is a pretty major change so late into the IC, but my original idea for the set was a modern interpretation of the team uniform using the black instead of the blue, so the more "modern" icons made sense. Now that the blue has been added, the original idea has been a bit muddled, and so I've become open to the idea of traditional icon+text, which a number of you have requested.

I didn't intend to run this many polls in one IC, but you guys have consistently surprised me with a high response rate, for which I am grateful. So here's one last poll to decide the style of mods. Hopefully, we can make the set the best it can be for the most amount of people!

Poll has also been added to the OP.

Indirect sunlight through window:



P3 is darker and V1 is more orange. RO2 is pretty close but still a bit more red than the Pantone, which skews pink.

In other news, the results of the poll confirm that the mods will stay as is (center aligned), with over 65% of the votes. Thank you to everyone who voted.

In terms of GB preparations, I am currently waiting on GMK to provide me with the Hangul SVG file so I can make adjustments for the new mono legends. Once finished, I'll provide the template to Janglad and we can hopefully get some updated renders.

Big update today, so let's get into it...

The GB will run from September 2-30! Pricing table is below and will be updated as they get finalized during the next week:



NOTE ABOUT PRICING: I know many of you were disappointed that the Numpad+ISO kit was added to the Base kit, but as a standalone kit, it would have cost a prohibitive $55, whereas adding it to the base kit resulted in only a $10 increase.

NOTE ABOUT HANGUL KIT: The primary legends (top left corner) have been slightly enlarged and bolded (compared to how they are as sublegends) to be more in line with cherry conventions. They will not however, be as bold as the standard Latin legends, as it would not look appropriate for Hangul.

Just a friendly reminder that the GB will start tomorrow, 9/2!

Below is the current pricing table. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting on a few prices to be submitted, but I will update those as soon as I am able:



Salvun is also working on the samples as I'm writing this, so those photos should be available soon, as well.

Once all prices, sample photos, and product page links have been confirmed, the GB thread will be submitted.
