Umm... Stimpacks are everywhere. I think I have like 600 of them. Also, just kill an animal and cook the meat, drink water, sleep, etc.

Then you need to spend a couple hundred hours adding mods and start fresh. :p

I remember on skyrim I got to 234 mods where the game was still stable and didn't completely kill my PC running it. Then my hard drive failed and lost it forever. :(

I make sure to check every tool box possible, there is usually an item that provides adhesive in there. I usually spend my caps on adhesive and screw items as well to build what I need.

Been taking it easy the last week or so, but finally in a position where I can post in this thread pretty much free from having any spoilers:

Sided with the BOS, ruthless play through style, killing anyone who stood in my way. Only did one Institute mission and regret not just killing Father upon first sight. I put skill points into charisma (very disappointed with the speech options, "ask for more caps"... "Ask for even more") and then sneaky perks, rifleman and all the crafting perks (excpet blacksmith). I just sneak about in my stealthboy power armor and snipe things to death with silenced weapons, pretty OP.

Only really looked at the wiki to figure out how to get the companion perks in the quickest way possible. Still got a few places to discover on the map.

Probably going to put it down for a bit until the first DLC comes out. After completing that I might take up a 2nd play through and tell the minute men SUCK A FAT ONE and leave me the hell alone. Thinking of going for unarmed on survival (currently playing on hard?) and doing the opposite faction choices and see how that comes out. I have a friend who does unarmed and he HATES HATES HATES the super mutant suiciders  :p

Game basically crashes every 30 minutes or so now. I've tried absolutely everything to fix it at this point. At least it was fun while it lasted.

Gahh, that's ****ty. Which platform?

I've got an AMD card (Rd 390x 4gb) and I get a driver crash whenever I have a mix of rain/fog/nighttime conditions. I'm assuming it's just a ****ty shader or something. Most of the time I'm quick saving like crazy but it's ****ed my progress quite regularly.

Weird.  I have an older 7950 and have had no issues, at least not GPU/driver related ones.  You'd think that since it's an Nvidia Gameworks game that they'd have their act together on it.

I have a GTX980 and the most recent update has dropped my fps from steady 70-65 to 65-45 suddenly (without mods) when I am running about. No crashes necessarily but worse optimization than the previous update. I hope they fix it soon...

So I played for maybe two hours last night? Have just ended up taking everything I can find, tools, meat, everything because I have no idea what anything is worth. Spent about 20 minutes trying to sort out the picket fence behind my house before wondering what the **** I was doing to myself.

Also managed to get a Fat Man pretty much straight away after remembering a video on youtube I watched, so I've got that to fall back on if I ever get into a situation like I did on Fallout 3 where I just couldn't get any further because I kept dying...

Also the dog seems to just get in the way =/

There's just an endless loop of settlements needing help, I guess they added that to keep everyone busy once all the other quests are said and done. I didn't realize this at first and probably did around 20-30 of them waiting to get to the end but then realized there was no end. :p

... the dog seems to just get in the way =/

You mean Dogmeat. And he is the best companion. I hate the rest of them.

Valentine is almost perfect for me, he just dislikes when I steal (which is often). Deacon really was the best follower by far until I had to kill him ; (

You might enjoy playing with Cait, she'll approve of your predilection for theft.

Maybe someday I'll find a way to make the game stop crashing...

Sorry if this has been answered, do you have your game on a SSD or regular hard drive?

HDD

I had some pretty major issues with FO4 loading from a WD Blue drive I had: it crashed constantly and most often I'd get about 2fps before it hung up. I moved it to a SSD and have not had performance issues since (I have a 970 and a 5930k in my rig). Though, you've made progress in the game, so it could be something else. I'm not sure if this is a fluke, but maybe something to consider.

Yeah, it's been crashing since the start of the game, it just used to be maybe once or twice a day, now its every 20 minutes or so. Don't even have an SSD on hand rn or the money to buy one so I guess I'll just have to wait a bit. Maybe by then they'll have released a DLC...

Still getting used to it, a bit finicky WASD + Mouse still rules all.

It's fun laying in bed though

(But really, it took me like 4 years to get through skyrim, I'll probably never finish my no-cheat game haha)

I saw this today... http://imgur.com/vg56tTt  sounds about right  :))

I've been playing bits and bobs between (mainly) losses in Dota. I'm still enjoying it, although I had to take about four attempts to kill that goddamn Mirelurk Queen. Didn't realise there was a rocket launcher inside until the fourth go. I hate Mirelurks so much.

I've tried to turn on god mode at some points to keep all of my hoarded stuff home with me, but my tilde key doesn't work =/

Also, I think the time has come to try mods. What has everybody been using? I'm guessing Nexus Mod manager is the best to use as that's what I used for Skyrim.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?
