This is exciting.  When he turned up again, I was worried that I might not be able to hit my order's 3-year anniversary without receiving anything.
But now things are looking up again!

Sprit, I saw you replied to a different thread, but I don't want to hijack it.

Could you please address the status of this buy?

Thanks,

Dansor

On the bright side, now that mech keyboards are more mainstream, we can deal with reputable sellers who have websites, companies and addresses that can be held somewhat accountable. And not be at the mercy of some anonymous internet personalities...

Wanna buy Hyperfuse, wait for it to go on Originative. At least if it doesn't show up you can get a return from paypal. And you are probably getting it more or less at the same time as everyone else. Wanna get a nice acrylic case, get it from winkeyless...

Never again, with this bull****. The manipulation is too real... (talking about this situation, not hyperfuse).

Well, with any luck Sprit will post to this thread soon.
He replied to another of his threads on Sunday, so hopefully he's getting caught up.

At some point maybe I'll post a friendly query in his other threads.  I just don't want to be that guy.

I'm pretty close to just calling out the people in his other GB's who feel entitled to an update. Like seriously, you reap what you sow and these people are casually asking for updates and causing more harm than good.

The only reason I haven't had to is because...well Sprit hasn't done any updates. Why? More than likely and not surprisingly because he doesn't have one. Regardless of the reason the only thing left to do is wait for an update in either thread to see if it's time to be "that guy."

Edit: Who am I kidding though, he'll probably just keep updating the *******s individually who are wanting to pay invoices rather than do a big public update.

Well, don't do that.
I was just indicating I may post in a different thread to get sprits attentiin.

While it's frustrating that others are taking part in Sprit's other buys while we are waiting, they are not doing anything wrong or responsible for Sprit's behavior.

Don't take your frustration out on your fellow enthusiasts or make this situation uglier than at is.

We're all in this together :)

Bull****. The customer isn't always right, there should be a degree of responsibility on the customer's behalf and being a little informed on a purchase is a responsibility on their part. Hell, getting the damn order right THE FIRST TIME should be a responsibility rather than hey Sprit can change 10 more things cuz I'm a special snowflake??

Absolutely absurd they'd not know "Sprit's behavior" then go asking for updates, order changes, invoices etc when this whole group buy and arguably others burn BECAUSE participants and organizers lack responsibility and don't take it for their actions.

What a joke this hobby is because being an "enthusiast" has given out so many free-passes, favoritism, and leeway that we find ourselves in these kinds of messes. This hasn't been a personal lash out at particular people more than I have been sick of the attitude that has been allowing this kind of stuff to happen.

Hey Sprit, I noticed again you responded to another group buy thread.
I nearly posted in that thread, but I really don't want to be a threadjacker.

If you could please reply to this thread as well, even if it's just a "I remember you" message, that would go a ways towards alleviating building frustrations.

Best wishes,

Dansor

As with sprit's other group buy, OP updated.  Please let me know if I've missed anything.
