Plate is the connection part between PCB and bottom case, without it the PCB becomes free moving due to lack of mounting mechanism

Any chance that the PCB would support split backspace? I think the initial run didn't, but it looks like the plate cutouts support it. I'm in regardless!

I am a bit confused about the grey's actual color, on the first photo on the GB with all the parts detached, is that the grey?

In another photo with all the case tops there's also the black and grey on it.

I think the dark grey is much better than the light/silver grey so I'm happy if this is the case ^^
