I wish I was rich, so ****ing beautiful.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Is that his official ebay account?

Either way that's a pricey keycap... And still over a day left on bidding

I'm curious why he's selling on eBay.  Obviously, the return for his caps is huge compared with standard sales, but it does seem weird.

Why do people even think this is Clack himself?  Aside from the area of CA they are being sold from...

makes people feel better if its clack making the $$ himself instead of some random guy.

I can see that.  I would feel better if it was clack making all that money off his caps.  He deserves it.  And, I suppose
it gives people with deep pockets and the love for clacks a difficult decision to make.  :))

Thats not cc, but they live in the same city and seem to have close connections. This seller got senzunite from what he called the "ghost sale", which was probably one of cc's private sale shenanigans.

Relax it's just 2015 inflation in the world of CC's.

I suspect this will end at over $400USD, anything that costs more than a 55g Anniversary Special, isn't worth anyone's time.

Same seller that sold the Green Dark Side Vader for $405.00    .

And, sob the WASD Fluorescent (fallout) Yellow Set for sob $80.00.

I still have nightmares over that one.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I thought I saw a revenge red go for 200 or 235 or something not too long ago, could be wrong.

What is happening with these prices though, its getting crazy. There is one person who is buying the majority of these ebay click clacks though, it isn't too hard to find out either.

Definitely seems like there are a few people stalking eBay with deep pockets these days, I don't want to think what this is going to do to the market. We already get an annoying amount of people who stalk the sales just to flip them for a profit, now we're getting into the territory that attracts the really dodgy bastards.

I was more referring to people scamming the sales with bots/dupe emails and counterfeiters.

So realistically I see one of two things happening here, assuming this auctions goes through to completion and item is delivered to buyer.

One, the buyer is a collector, clack hoarder extraordinaire and we get to see hot pics and it goes in a collection.

Two some high school punk buys it for $650 then tries to trade it for two korean custom boards then sell those boards for $500 each only to take that $1000 and buy more clacks and repeat.

Might actually be a sound investment that.

No feedback for the highest bidder. I guess the seller try to make the price rise by himself.

I hope theres no one stupid enough to try to outbid the alt account on ebay...

People with more money than sense.

The two highest bidders have 0 feedback, and the fourth highest bidder only has one; it is very much possible that the winning bidder never planned on paying for it in the first place.

TIL: The clack hoarders of 2014 were actually genius investors.

I remember seeing $225 for a Tri-OG and thinking that was insane.

Now it would probably go for $500+

.

And to think the seller and buyer are probably both lurking this thread.

judging by the buyer's zero feedback it seems like the seller was just upping his own listing.

Such pessimism in this place and I bet you guys are all youngster's as well.  Usually have to wait another 50 years to achieve this level of outright suspicion and extreme hatred towards other people in general, yet I'm made to feel quite young again when I visit this place.

Maybe you lot here are so hypnotized by the Clack Fever that you react like looking for gold, you don't trust anyone at all when it comes to pursuing your prize.

It's not pessimistic at all, a 0 feedback buyer spending 2x the value of a Clack to win is super suspicious. And considering the same item has been listed again less than 2 weeks later it seems pretty likely that the seller relisted because the guy never paid.

Look at this bidding history, two bidders with 0 feedback in the final day and another bidder with 1 feedback right around the price it probably would have sold for.

Yeah, another crazy thing is that guy with 1 feedback had a negative feedback.  His one and only transaction on eBay was negative.  I bet the seller wished so badly it was the person in second place that would
have won instead.  I've had this happen on eBay and it's one of the reasons why I stopped selling on eBay.  Some people feel as if they aren't obligated to buy anything even after they dedicate which is time
consuming for the seller since they have to allow x days for payment and then file a dispute which may take up to a week if the person still refuses to pay.

And a few of the blanks have been relisted too.

$625 :O

People have lost their damned minds.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.
