STORY:
I was on vacation last year and walked through a store with my wife and saw a sports bra hanging on clothing rack. I was immediately inspired to make this keyset. I have been working on it for a few months to get everything just right and I really think that this set just works. The moment I got the final color swatches chosen, I immediately knew it was one of my best so far.

ATTENTION:
I have had some folks mention that they thought this set was just grey and pink. This worried me a little, as this set is very much blue grey. So I have had some comparison renders made up from Janglad, to help you see the difference.

Looking at the recent novelkeys updates, olive closed 2 months before this and still hasn't shipped (supposedly on the 17th), and violet on creme (roughly synchronous with 8008) is due a month later. Pulse was a month later than Olive but arrived to me yesterday. Dots, Handarbeit, vaporwave all closed before 8008 too.

From that number of sets, seems like February? I bet these delays are small vs the glut that dracula, camping, 9009 r3 to Olivia r2 represent...

I post all updates from all projects were involved in at news.dixiemech.com but i thought i'm due for a post here in case theres some folks who didnt know about our update page.

This set had a 17 weeks delivery time from payment, which means it should have arrived in January, but in January GMK gave us a new shipment date (from their warehouse) of the end of Feb. I am still waiting on photos of all the new molds before mass production starts, so i have a feeling it will not even meet that shipping date, even though they havent said that to me. I ask for updates weekly, and sometimes multiple times a week. Seems this set is going to be even further delayed from the first delayed date like all the rest of the sets.

I will keep everyone updated but make sure to check out the news.dixiemech.com each week if you want weekly updates. The link will be in my bio under my photo for quick access.

However, this set does not match the renders accurately, and I can't help but feel disappointed. After receiving Vaporwave I was looking forward to another bright and fun set, but the light grey of the alphas is quite a lot darker than the renders, and the pink is not neon at all (I'm especially sad about that), which makes this set more average-looking than it should have been.

If this runs again, I hope the colour-matching will be more accurate.

The posted photos on Reddit appear lifeless when compared to the vibrance of the renders. I get these are not professionally color corrected photos so I'll continue waiting for my set to compare and contrast.

I would say that "lifeless" is an accurate description of the pink when compared to the renders. I had forgotten what the renders looked like, but looking at my set right now, the pink is nowhere near as vibrant as the pink in the renders. The light gray is a bit dark, too, and has a bit more blue to it (in certain lighting conditions) than the renders.

I received my set last week, so my opinion was based on the actual product and what it looked like under different types of light, rather than what Reddit had to offer. If anything, the pictures I’ve seen have made it look less lifeless than it really is...

RAMA did us a great favor and shipped out the silicone caps that are ready so we can start shipping! We should receive those next week and will ship out ASAP. We have finally shipped out all the remaining orders that weer waiting on the RAMA Swirl caps!

The only orders left are a handful of address errors that we are having to correct. We may reach out to if we can't get it to verify.

We also have some packages that are packed and ready to go, but cannot be shipped due to countries suspending shipments because of COVID-19. These will be shipped once the countries open back up.
