final prototype(s) arrived today, will build and test sound, maybe even record some.

Waiting on some last parts that will arrive next week.

I have finished up some decisions regarding the anodizing roughness, and I will color match all the way until production, to improve the colors(only the ultramarine sample is exactly as i want it).

I am also testing which plates are the best

Then we are ready to go with the pre order.

Here is a macro shot of the anodizing. The Ultramarine is finer and the Rose is rougher.

Rougher sandblasting makes it easier to match the top and the bottom, however after testing and comparing, I have decided to go with the finer sandblasting.

It has less trade offs in total, and will have a flatter color that will appear more even.

spoke to leandren earlier, he says that he's waiting for some samples to arrive (probably friday) and it should start not too long after that if all is well with those

Gorgeous and clean design...!

Is it possible to have a custom-made Top to fit a True-HHKB layout (6u spacebar)?
Will it be an astronomical figure to do that or plain impossible?

There is totally no option out there for this very practical (aligns with the home-column hand/thumb positions) but asymmetrical layout.

I got the samples yesterday, repackaged and sent them to Vegs for testing.
He will give me feedback on all plate types/ mounting types before moving forward.

Hopefully the renders would prove the badge justice. I like the idea, though I wasn't fond of type X's badge. An engraved mountain logo however would look amazing IMO. regardless, I would still be joining this GB

I've got an answer about opting out of PCB (not possible, obviously), but what about compatibility with HS60 PCB? I'm going to put GMK Laser on ultramarine HHKB and Laser cries RGB, you know.

Tracked shipping with DHL or UPS. I am not sure with the hotswap PCB, but it *should* work.

Please note that this is a proto, so the top and bottom are anodized with two different finishes which is why they are so different, also, Rose is not available this round
