What about this is a Miko board? You have weight engravings and that seems like its it.
Between the calliope and this, it kind of feels like you're using their names as a cash grab.

I'm not trying to be rude. I know that you love hololive and that the design of the board is cool. But a 35 unit board thats basically just a normal TKL with a couple of extra engravings seems cash-grabby to me.
And by itself, I think its a really cool board, and I like that side profile. But when you put the name as the board's name, the situation kind of changes imo especially consider the number of units.
please consider removing the engravings.
-everyone
More engravings. Double or triple it up. I don't want a single facing untouched. Plate especially. Those Windows key blockers also. They need to be covered or else it's a waste

Change the engravingsHey! At least be nice about it.
The details provided are kinda scarce, tbh. Case materials? Colours? WKL only or WK also? Plates? HS? Lighting, if any?6063 aluminum with brass weight and accent piece, wkl only, plates TBD, no hotswap, no lighting.
P.S. If it's a private run or insiders only, just say so or don't post it at all. For someone just browsing this forum, this IC is really weird.
Dear yoot.It is directly linked to best shrine maiden with clean, very elite engravings !
It may have already been brought to light, that the community is unsatisfied with the current state of this tenkeyless board.
Their main concerns is the engravings and name. They feel as if you are simply using it as a way to capitalize off the current popularity of the v-tuber organization known as Hololive. I, to some extend, agree with this.
While I do believe it is acceptable to make a board inspired by your favorite v-tubers, doing so consecutively without any clear link between the board and the v-tuber will arouse suspicion as to whether you are truly doing this due to passion for the keyboard community and the v-tuber your board is representing, or simply doing it for your own gain.
Although I do see the idea of making a series of v-tuber inspired keyboards, I would highly advise you to reconsider the direction the design of this board is heading in. Either you should directly link it to a v-tuber with clean engravings, or remove any current resemblance, and simply run the board as a standalone group-buy.
Either way, I do believe the board has the potential to turn out well.
Best of luck.

randomºΔºbull****engravings go?
Honestly, not a huge fan of the engravings. Between this and the Calliope, I agree with some others that this feels a bit cash=grabby. If you insist on the engravings, I'd make them a bit cleaner. Additionally, information such as case materials, colours, layouts, plates, lighting, HS, etc should all be in the plates, and one should not need to extensively read the comments to gather this information.

not really understanding the cash grab comments when I haven't even given a price and have a limited amount of units. If I was cash grabbing, I would be doing an unlimited group buy at 700 bucks !

Yeah, again, I still don't understand how this is a grab, when 'kpop inspired' boards are more and more rampant. Everyone just pulls out their wallets for that. I feel that this is some of the gatekeepers tryna keep the v-tube community separate from this hobby.
And this is coming from a K-pop mech simp myself(praying for RBB)

if you're gonna do an inspired board at least actually try to take some design inspiration, instead of "lmao let's just cover generic tkl w/ references"

To avoid those comments, it would probably be a good idea to explain how the design decisions reflect the source of inspiration in the initial post of any new themed keyboard interest check.
Looking forward to adding a Miko L to my collection. My Calli L is getting lonely.
Wasn't satisfied with interior engraving so, with the help of qarmaa (ty so much!) the engravings have been updated a bit. Will make actual renders after tweaking a bit ;Dthis more nice and clean, very eliteShow Image(https://i.imgur.com/BeHZe6e.png)

Sorry if I was unclear, I’ll elaborate. By cash-grabby, there are three main elements I’m referring to:
1. The updated engravings do look much better IMO, and they really show dedication to the project, but they aren’t (in my opinion) enough to distinguish this board from other TKL designs.
2. I haven’t heard anything from Miko regarding this board. Granted, I know literally nothing about vtubers and hololive, but it seems kinda weird to me to base a board off someone else’s online persona and profit from it. I also don’t know what the precedent is regarding boards/keycap sets inspired by other people, so I could be very wrong on this point.
3. IN MY OPINION, I see 35 boards as being too few to show commitment to the project but too many to make purely as a passion project. The production costs of 35 units will also be quite expensive compared to a higher number.
Final note: Please take everything I said here with a grain of salt. These opinions represent what I think of the IC, as it currently stands. What you think may be entirely different from what I think, and that is entirely ok. If you’d like some renders of the updated board with keycaps, feel free to hit me up on Discord at Jefff#5555. Best of luck with the board!
