[IC] artisan keycaps box in the wrist rest

hello everyone
this is an artisan keycaps box in the wrist rest. Designed by Xun Xun. Qingxi production.photo by s1t9e9v4e

The idea for this wrist rest comes from Xunxun's finishing keycaps. He found that the height of the keycap was lower than the height of the hand rest, so he thought about whether the keycap could fit into the hand rest. This gave birth to this idea.

The following is the size of the wrist rest: the height is 2cm, not including the 1mm footpad. Can fit most keyboards. The width is around 9cm. The length can be selected as required. Other requirements can also provide customization.

The main material is wood. The material and pattern of the wood can be chosen by yourself. The surface supports lettering. You can even customize the silver painting, which will be introduced in another post. The top layer is an acrylic plate.

Can accommodate keycaps of 14mm and below. Or you can put anything you want to put, such as a pen or USB disk.

is it possible to add a sliding compartment under the wrist-rest for the keypuller (or other "thin" stuffs)?

(it's just an idea, I don't know if that's possible to machine or not  ;D )

The price has not been fully determined. Still proofing. The final price will depend on the wood used and the length of the palm rest.

hum to put keycap I don't want to (ab)use because they are too beautiful. Interested for a 75 even a bit larger would be fine.

Other materials would be *really* nice but as long as you support compact 1800 length, I'll totally buy. A metallic wristrest would really be dope tho, but wood does have its own charm.

I was just hoping a wristrest would magically pop up in the IC section and this showed up. I remember having the Razer Blackwidow and that wristrest was just annoying because it would keep sliding around since it was only connected by a weak magnet to the keyboard. Possibly consider putting a brass weight or something in the bottom to give it some weight and not slip around everywhere.
