Watching X-Men '97
It is pretty good for nostalgic factors. The animation is 'samey' but obviously better that its predecessor via the lens of modern techniques and a bigger budget. They really leave in all the boring bits though. Where as the kids show would cut out a character waxing narrative for literally 12 mins straight, '97 says **** it, leave it all in!
I do really like how it picks up RIGHT where the show left off with what I consider a big shift in narrative design for many Marvel series right around the early '90s where stories started to involve different timelines and such.

Keyboards / Re: How hard do you all type?

Depends on my board. My home board with SA keycaps and Zealios I beat the piss out of. I am not sure why but it feels like I press very hard and loud. Maybe intentional since I enjoy the sound.

At work I use Alps Damped Creams and I don't feel like I press hard on them, very quiet.

Tried some OC, +60mhz on gpu. That's pretty gud'.

For a gaming laptop, this is a pretty interesting mod. The benefit speaks for itself,  but definitely wait for the coolers to come down to $50 ish.  Or DIY like Tp4.

The IETS version has a little filter paper in its intake, it's something to think about since increasing airflow means increased dust ingress.  The filter media size is extremely tiny though, and full of holes around itself, not sure how good that seal is.

DIY using air purifier guarantees good seal and absolutely pristine air. Large impeller means lower rpm, higher air pressure, and almost no noise.

The desktop chillers are noisy beasts.

mad cow disease is scary af, having your mind deteriorate quickly with no way to stop it, is an insanely scary thought.

Probably one of the first things that me question the non pork meat consumption that I was eating, especially knowing the conditions of a lot of these factory farms that these cows are in.

Prion diseases have been on the rise, especially mid-west America. Deer wasting disease. They can leave the disease and it can stay in the soil, and picked up by other deer. These disease can easily spread to other livestock/ mutate in.

'Murica is a major meat exporter.  Bon-appetite.

I can touch type without bottoming out, and usually do, but I always use clicky keyboards or at least tactile ones.

Linear switches seem creepy to me, although I do appreciate their silence.

That said, my mood is a big determinate of how hard I type, and a significant part of the time I am pounding the keys. And I feel certain that earlier in the day when I am rested I type better and gentler, and by the end of the day I am being more sloppy and striking harder.

That is probably why I like ancient IBM iron so much - it makes little difference when you double (or triple) the force that you are using.

I can only shake my head whenever I see/hear "This board/switch/keycaps will behave so and so IF you bottom out".

IF?! It is beyond my reality how a human being can type without bottoming out?! I type all the way trough he board. I have big hands, am a big dude with some muscles on me. I am literally afraid of using FR4 or Carbon fiber plates because I think I will break them or at least bend them beyond repair.
