Colours
Please keep in mind these images can't be 100% accurate due to camera and screen accuracy, but give an idea on the colours used

• GMK WS2 for White
• RAL 010 80 20 for Pink
• RAL 210 85 15 for Light Blue
• RAL 230 70 30 for Dark Blue

Colours were initially colour-matched with a physical sample from the source, with "Pastel Pink", "Fine Blue" and "Fitness Blue" being the final custom colours used after playing with similar colours to see which variants would work best for the set. WS2 was chosen over the typical WS1 as it provides a more cooler tone, which helps define and tie in the overall theme better.

I was referred by someone to keycaprenders.com to get images but it has issues with, as you've said, a metallic finish on the keycaps. I'll try to get better renders if possible from Kingk22

Are you referring to GMK Bento? Initially when picking colours I thought so too, but this blue and pink (which is red in bento) is a lot lighter and honestly gives a much different feel from the muted look of bento.

The contrast would be quite worrisome on this one

Do you mean contrast of alpha legends colour? The blue is similar to ePBT Fuyu so I'm hoping that won't be the case once I get better renders and fine-tune colours with Pantone chips.

That is my thought as well.....

I think the render can take a bit reflection off. It feels pretty metallic for some reason.... 
It's a bit hard to see the actual color.

As requested, I've updated Alpha & Mod Legends to a darker blue (same colour as Noel's boots) to increase legibility and contrast. Renders are still crap though so aim to have good ones out by Friday for Base Kit and on a Rama board.

I'm sure there's a purpose to the dashed squares on the { } keys that I'm simply unaware of, but I think it makes the key appear a little bit cluttered and it lacks balance with the other keys which put text in the bottom right. Another idea that comes to mind could be having katakana and/or kanji alternates for the modifiers. Otherwise, I love this set and I'm in if it ends up looking like this.

As for your feedback, I do agree that the dashed squares on the set do clutter the keys a bit and contrasts compared to other keys. They're supposed to be placeholders for hiragana keys on Dakuten ( ﾞ ) and Handakuten ( ﾟ )  signs used to modify them, which similar legends can be found on something like GMK Metaverse. However, GMK Bento's implementation of just the symbol on the bottom right is much cleaner, so I'll be more than glad to change them.

As for Katakana and/or Kanji Mods (something like ePBT SimpleJa comes to mind), although it'd be great to have variety, I'm unaware that GMK has the moulds for mods with legends like those. Either new moulds will have to be created (which will increase price significantly) or they will have to be Dye-Subbed, which although cheaper, is something I'd rather spend time with novelties on as I honestly don't like the aesthetic of Japanese Mods in the first place and feel it just clutters it.

Ah, you're right about those symbols. I should have thought to look and compare! I understand a little Japanese, but I'm used to only looking at Latin keyboards so the characters occupying those keys don't stick in my head as well. I completely understand the bit about the mods. Honestly, the set as-is plus hiragana keys as an option is more than enough for me, so anything else is just a bonus.

Update 3: Updated all renders for better lighting (still need to change dakuten and handakuten legends), and added Bow Novelty R1 Key as part of Novelty Kit.

Colour Matching will be delayed until Monday as difficulties with delivery have left it being delivered to the next business day (which is Monday for me). Hope to get RAL colours ASAP! (Will be using RAL Design Colours)

After colour matching, it has come to my attention that current renders were displaying pink far more saturated then what I had planned, so please take a look at the new renders for more accurate colours (now matched to RAL colours)

As a result, pink is now lighter and muted and darker blue is slightly more vibrant to further increase legibility.

Update 7: New Renders by Abec13 which better capture the keycaps under natural lighting (though can't be 100% accurate due to different screens portraying colours differently). Also changing from WS1 to WS2 as WS1 was too warm for the set and I feel WS2 with it's cooler white is better themed for the set.

1) Add Pink & White arrow keys
Accent Color Arrow Keys carry a lot of aesthetic value. Its one of the major design choices that unlocks the value of the accent color scheme and the set as a whole (e.g. Olivia, Camping, Cafe).

2) Add "Pg Up" to R3 and Add "Pg Dn" to R4
Adding the Page Up and Page Down keys in these rows is needed for those who don't have or don't use Home and End keys. The Page Up and Page Down keys are useful when kept close to the navigation arrows. Additionally, this layout is needed for people that don't like to sandwich their Page Up and Down keys in between the Home and End keys (e.g. Alt, M65-A, Satisfaction, 910, any 75% layout)

3) Remove sub legends from Numpad
Numpad keys with just numbers looks clean, minimal, and modern. The blue and the pink of Noel definitely give me these feels

Most of what you said I do agree with you. Your first and third suggestions particular I was debating about having accent arrows and losing sub-legends for a cleaner look, but I felt it'd be a safer option to not go with those. However, given how the set has shaped, I would be glad to have these both done for the base kit.

This also includes the R3 Pg Up and R4 Pg Up as I was unaware of any boards of used them. It only adds 2 keys and I feel would be justifiable for better compatibility.

A good portion of people still use numpad even if it's not the most common layout nowadays (at least seen in the enthusiast community), and neglecting that by having people pay around $30-40 extra for an add-on for something that would save roughly $15-20 for most people is something I do not want to do to. At least that's how I feel about it which is why I'd like to have a base kit to fit as many people as possible.

By F keys do you mean extra or Function keys with sub-legends? If it's the former then I understand the use of it from layouts 75% and above on a secondary board but I feel the added price for extra 12 keys that aren't japanese isn't worth it for many, as it'll be a premium on top of the current hiragana kit and base kit that they'd have to buy. If it's the latter I'm unsure if GMK possesses existing moulds for it. If they don't, it would be a small fortune to get them done which would greatly increase the price of the kit.

I appreciate your suggestions though, and look forward to improving the set to the best of my abilities.

Hey! I'd be glad to add a r2 1.5u tab to the hiragana kit for a secondary board.

The backspace novelties suggestion however I feel detracts a bit from the more minimal nature of this set. I did initially have a flying saucer novelty to be done for the conventional R3 shift keys, but that didn't turn out so great as it was too busy and ruined the otherwise minimal looking set.

Any thoughts on splitting the numpad kit and adding the F keys to Hiragana kit?
+1 to keeping numpad clean with #s only.

A good portion of people still use numpad even if it's not the most common layout nowadays (at least seen in the enthusiast community), and neglecting that by having people pay around $30-40 extra for an add-on for something that would save roughly $15-20 for most people is something I do not want to do to. At least that's how I feel about it which is why I'd like to have a base kit to fit as many people as possible.

By F keys do you mean extra or Function keys with sub-legends? If it's the former then I understand the use of it from layouts 75% and above on a secondary board but I feel the added price for extra 12 keys that aren't japanese isn't worth it for many, as it'll be a premium on top of the current hiragana kit and base kit that they'd have to buy. If it's the latter I'm unsure if GMK possesses existing moulds for it. If they don't, it would be a small fortune to get them done which would greatly increase the price of the kit.

I appreciate your suggestions though, and look forward to improving the set to the best of my abilities.

Any possibility of adding a r2 1.5u tab key to the hiragana kit, and backspace novelties (both r1 2u and r2 1.5u) to the novelties kit?

Just the extra tab key would let base + hiragana buyers fill out both a TKL and an additional 65% board (of a different backspace and bottom row config).
And with backspace novelties on top of that, base + hiragana + novelties buyers would be able to fill a TKL and an additional 65% board, with the same backspace and bottom row config.

Hey! I'd be glad to add a r2 1.5u tab to the hiragana kit for a secondary board.

The backspace novelties suggestion however I feel detracts a bit from the more minimal nature of this set. I did initially have a flying saucer novelty to be done for the conventional R3 shift keys, but that didn't turn out so great as it was too busy and ruined the otherwise minimal looking set.

One thing I would have liked to see in the Novelties Kit is, instead of the "Roar" text in the Enter key, using the internet slang "Rawr" instead just for the laughs of it.
