If possible, I would like on assembled. Will there be Poker 2 compatible plates at some point as well or anywhere I can get such a thing?  :D

I updated design and this will be final hopefully. I'm inquiring a PCB manufacturer whether my design can be acceptable to their service. I'll order it if they say ok.

So, if the chart in OP is correct, my order would bring it to a round 20?

In a year I'm going to regret doing this but ... I'm going to request one. PCB only, I've got all the components here.

Since I just barely hopped off the fence and am now leaning against it, if it would be easier to ignore my order instead, I'd accept that too.

FWIW, the Dell AT101W (and likely AT101 and SGI AT101) use a stepped lock key that's "1.5x key with a .25x step on the side" for positioning.  Some old Acer boards with compatible keycaps also use this position, and I also got this size on a Datacomp ADB board.

Cherry stepped lock keys, for comparison, are typically "1.25x key with .5x step"
Overton130, Box Pale Blues.

I'll order ten boards in first revision to minimize risk of ditching money unreasonably.  I'll take nine participants from top of the list.(I think some will change mind and be out this buy, this is why the list is longer than nine) If I embed any stupid mistake in my design I'll have to go with next revision. Perhaps, after this group buy I may make more boards if threre is enough demand but I'll take more reasonable margin for my work in that case. While in this group buy I'll minimize margin to respect risktakers.

Hak Foo, thanks for the information. I think photo Bueller posted above shows  "1.5x key with a .25x step on the side" one and I added support for it. I didn't know Cherry stepped key is different from Alps one. Good to know.

Got reply from PCB guy and they requires extra $16 for my design(two cut outs for screw on side edge), this means price of PCB will be increased by around $2.

And I found a serious problem on space bar switch position, if I overlooked this mistake 104key layout like Dell 101W and V60MTS would lose support. I'll take more time to check my design again before order.

As for stepped  Capslock I added 1.50/0.25 stepped key(Dell/SGI 101/101W) in addition to Non-stepped(AEK, Omnikey, V60, Infinity). I didn't find Alps 1.25/0.5 stepped key yet so far, as far as I skimmed through this SKCM keybaord list randomly. I won't add its support unless existense of the key is confirmed.

Awesome man, thanks for all your hard work :)
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Well the initial 9 people were let into the buy just because there is a risk that the PCB may be a dud.
Hasu just doesn't want to collect over a thousand dollars for PCBs that don't work I guess.
Perhaps there will be more interest in doing a full run of these if they turn out fine.

Got paid for all of nine PCBs, very quick! Thanks much, paticipants.
What we can do is only waiting now. I'll post once I get the package.

Whether second run of the GB happens depens on how difficult soldering process is to me. If it is too difficult or time consuming I'll not do this again.

If the PCB works, I'd throw down for a DIY only run.

Hi Hasu! Is it ok if  I sent your designs to a PCB house to get one for myself? Also, are you cutting up a plate from another alps board?
