Anyone ever play Summoner's War?
« on: Tue, 10 February 2015, 21:56:13 »
It's a freemium game on Android (and maybe iTunes App Store by now) that is Pokemon on steriods. Check it out:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.com2us.smon.normal.freefull.google.kr.android.common&hl=en

If you happen to play, my current gamertag is Fortree.

I may have a slight addiction.

I knew I had a problem... when I was sitting there, and felt that nervous-itch, right beneath the jaw line, even though there was no physical itch, yet I was compelled to scratch.  And then proceeded to turn on the game, and looked through the IAP section with startling interest...

Going to try it, but I want to ask. Is it enjoyable to play without spending money on it? Or is it one of the typical free to play where it's boring as **** unless you put some cash into it?

That's the best thing about it! You can be awesome without spending a dime! Yes, it'll take longer. But, it's a very fair game even if you don't spend money. There are plenty of in-game ways to expedite the process. You just need to learn the little tips and tricks posted on r/summonerswar.

It also helps that most in game purchases cost as much as a gorram BroCap! Artisan keycap = totally worth the money; pixels on your phone = definitely not.

Also, there is a chat client on there. there are 9999 chat channels, and we (JoshMK and I) primarily hang out on 7107 (our street address number here at MK)
