You know, I've been seriously lagging on putting my Apple M0110 back together with a teensy controller... it's already desoldered & I think I have all the parts needed except for wire & diodes (which shouldn't be difficult to acquire.) I basically wanted to do the same as Lowpoly did with his: http://deskthority.net/workshop-f7/the-apple-m0110-today-t1067.html - interested in taking on another project?

I'm afraid I would not be comfortable with that but would gladly recommend Dorkvader for such a project. I've only worked on Cherry boards and I have yet to receive proper SMD training, so I'm not sure you'd want to volunteer your project as a guinea pig.

Sorry!

Edit: Lol, I just saw that he is totally booked for a while, sorry about that. I wish I could help you, but I really don't want to risk your board in the process. I have never done any wire boards or anything outside cherry mx for that matter...

No worries! Part of why I've been lagging is I don't want to mess it up either  :))

I pulled a switch out of my wasd v2 with clears so I think the whole thing needs to be taken apart, and soldered back together again.  I have no experience with this so if it is something you are willing to do please let me know.  I will be glad to give you some gifts for you efforts if you do not want $$$.
Thanks,

LOL, dude I actually feel that way when I have my respirator on...You haven't seen me when I'm actually soldering/desoldering, lol you would definitely have a laugh. I'll get someone to take my photo when I solder these switches in lol.

I definitely spoiled myself with getting it as my first soldering iron lol. Got it from Geekhackers, and it's always been really nice to use. :]

Clipping and sanding stabs is pretty therapeutic!

WTF. Ran out of solder lol. I ordered two spools when I started and I've finished 4 full boards and a keypad. Poop. Also please excuse my flux, haven't gotten to the stage of cleaning yet.

It's a TG3 board; not sure of the specific model :0

TG3 Data 911 BL-82. Great board actually, highly underrated. Also known as the Cop Car or Police Car board since it was mainly installed in the standard Crown Victorias that many police departments used. I forget the model number for the Data 911 board that has the touch pad but know that there's a similar model with a touch pad.

Random funfact? TG3 owns Deck. Or Deck is a sub-brand of TG3. And this board also may come with a splashguard. Mmmm....splashguard.
