The original Skidata boards are from the mid 90s and not from the early 70s. The Skidata keyboard is actually quite "young" by Cherry keyboard standards. Look at 7bits Honeywell reproductions - those are truely old designs.

Anyway, key-cap (and keyboard) design fascinates me in general since I've dabbled in graphic design for awhile, and I've just recently begun to explore it and I am quite pleased to have done so. The somewhat puerile notion that this is anything to do with a masturbatory pleasure is amusing, but does not come close at all to describing the appreciation for the elegance of a timeless design, especially the appreciation from someone who has worked in a design field.

I'll see what we can do, but probably not, because they won't be in my hands until the whole shipment is sent over.

Yesterday I signed into my ZealPC account for the first time since November because of the Zealio group buy. I remembered that I had purchased the set and it was being sent to the old house. Thank god for Zealios, otherwise my SKIDATA+ would have been sent to a house that I no longer live in.

The GB pricing was reserved for those who ordered during the GB phase and there will definitely be a price increase, but I'll announce it when it's planned out.

Something to keep in mind is that there will be additional taxes to bring the Skidata extras from the US into Canada due to our import regulations, and that will be reflected in the pricing.

Well, it's bedtime in Europe now and the extra sale isn't live yet. I hope there will be something left in the morning, but I also realize it's a slim chance =( All I wanted was some spacebars (and ~4 relegendables)...

While I'd love to dip in for a full set, all I really need is a SKIDATA+ COLOUR PACK. More specifically the blue mods.
I'm off to work now so I hope there will be some left when it goes live.

Moving is expensive so keyboard budgets tend to suffer a bit.

I'm way past the 180-day time frame of my PayPal payment and getting kinda nervous here.
The 9009 GB I joined in late March is supposed to ship early June according to GMK.
The Monkey GB from February is in the process of shipping.

Sorry to say it but this drop is way overdue.

Did I miss some essential posts explaining the delay? I keep checking the OP for updates but didn't really have the time to read every post of the thread. What's the latest word from GMK?

Pretty sure this is it -- The entire buy got delayed because of a delay in the relegendables and wanting everything to ship together.

Would still be nice to see some pictures, once we have them! Need some of that orange in my life!

I assure you that everything has been ordered and we are very close to the completion date.

To help relieve your anxiety, I'll reveal the secret bonus caps I've been working on getting for us.

I want to remind everyone that we're the first GB to be using the newest GMK logo tooling, as well as the first complete GB to use GMK's updated plastic reformulation that is both aesthetically better (higher saturation, more contrast, less light bleed, as specified by the Skidata+ team in order to have nothing but the best caps), as well as having better material properties.

Look forward to it; I know I am.

P.S. The extras go out with the GB so it's not a problem if I take orders a bit slower for them, but I do apologize for the delay. They will probably be up tonight if I can get it figured out, thanks again for all the excitement!
