Looks outstanding!! I was looking for a cool looking TKL for a near future, so the hunt may be over. All of this depending on the price and the shipping, which will not be cheap due to the weight of it I imagine..

that acrylic cutout is a really cool idea(depending on how much the extra machining drives up cost ) is that currently on the chopping block depending on price? Not to mention the brass insert . I really hope these make the cut because it was a pretty cool and unique design

It's great that you have been able to get different price quotes that will hopefully minimize the cost of this project. I'm a little worried that as we get cheaper quotes, though, the quality of the the finished project will decrease. I'm sure you will make the best decision for this project, but I hope that the cost of the keyboard isn't favored over its quality. Thanks for keeping us updated!

It's certainly possible. The first color can be a Turquoise by Caswell Plating, and the second color would be Caswell's Teal. There are similar colors by US Specialty. Will depend on the anodizing shop used and whether they will offer or accept custom colors.

Yeah I am trying to nail down what colors we can offer or if we could possibly offer custom options. Everything will be explicitly clear before the buy starts, don't worry

Out of curiosity, if you release the design of the plate, couldn't someone modify and cut out an ansi plate (while keeping the same outline and mounting holes), AND it still should fit within the top cover?
