I know this is off topic but I would like to see GMK Dolch with Icons modifier(like Ivan Dolch)

I'd love to see this as well. The exact same keys cmd has in his Olivetti render but in Dolch colors. I'd be down for both sets. Hopefullly Dolch in a future GB!

Yessir, like this. Are there more essential keys?

An 1.5u Alt Gr key would be great; but, I think non of the Alt Gr keys are really essential. They can be replaced with the standard Alt keys with no issue. These keys provide full ISO UK compatibility to the set. The other European layouts require a lot more keys; that, it is not the intent of this essential ISO child set.

Ya bro I got you. Leandre helped me with it. Wodan's essentials are what I will use. As for the first part - I have 1.5U Alt Gr in both R4 and R5. It is in the main set. The 4 ISO keys will stay in the main set.

Not sure if this has been asked... sorry if it's redundant or a bit too early to ask.

Are you planning to use a vendor to collect payment and ship for you? (Originativeco, Massdrop, etc.) If not, where will these be shipping from?

PS. Definitely interested in this. I always love classic looking sets.

Are the screw-in modifiers dangerous for your pcb?

With the usual stabs, when I remove a spacebar which has very tight stems, the stab may be accidentally removed without damaging the pcb (it has happened to me with an original cherry 6u spacebar). When using the screw-in ones, is there a possibility that they can damage the pcb?

I'm also curious if there's any real difference in stability from screw in to pcb mounted stabilizers...

No they are not dangerous to your PCB (unless you are an idiot). GMK used them in their skidata boards and Zeal also has replicated them (as well has enhance their features). I am fairly certain they do in fact increase stability since they are locked in.

Also, they are pcb mounted stabilizers except that they are screw-in. Refer to Leandre's photos on Page 2.

The set looks great. It is very hard to resist for my poor wallet now. I just hope, I can secure wife's approval for the purchase. LOL.

Just a couple of questions:

1) Are the windows key double shot or pad printed?
2) Would the UK keys: R3 #~ and R4 \| belong into the main set better than R3 # ' and R4 <>|  Germanic ones?

A German fellow will need the international set anyway; so, it makes more sense to keep all the Germanic keys in there. Don't you think? In the other hand the UK keys R3 #~ and R4 \| complements the main set ala XT style making it a full set with an ISO or with an ANSI Enter. The Germanic keys: R3 # ' and R4 <>| are redundant with the ANSI layout of the main set.

Any chance of adding some keys to the international kit? I'm asking this because gmk has a strange threshold, and if you get past it, everything becomes cheaper, and 1u keys cost about $0.5.

For example in the alphas set I had 74 pieces for $50, and additional 1u keys cost 0.5$, while the space bar cost 1.5$ https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=85593.0
I'm suggesting to add a 6u space-bar and 5 1u keys for modern 1800 compatibility.

The stabilizers would be pretty much identical to Zeal's, minus the gold wire and transparent plastic right? If so, I'd buy enough for all the boards I will ever build. I love Zeal's stabilizers but 30 bucks for a set, particularly when not all my boards require transparent stabilizers due to lack of RGB, oof.

The screw in stabilizers that GMK has don't have the nut that zeal's do, they just screw into the plastic. They're still pretty sturdy though

Eh, no problems with GB delivery from Originative so far except the lack of updates but no biggie. Their pricing on GB items is usually pretty reasonable.

Hi there...I believe oco will just carry them but I will need to get that by Sherry first. I wouldn't let one moment like that scare you away, that is not GMK. GMK generally will stick to their timelines and this set does not have any custom colors in it. The only person liable for delays would be GMK (when this goes live and deadlines are met). It is rather straight forward.

Cheers

Yeah, the other problem is shipping internationally is crazy expensive it'd you don't have the option to lower declared value which I've heard they will not do anymore. Plus guessing through oco it'll be impossible to have the set sell at the prices you were quoting initially. I'll probably pass since it'll probably be too much to justify with all the other stuff that's coming out, good luck though, the sets really quite nice

Yeah I've mentioned before that the price is not going to change...it will change when the set goes to retail...but not for the GB.
