I'm think of buying the Redragon k569 ARYAMAN and replace the blue switches with outemu silver switches, is that possible
-
it's definitely possible as the Outemu Silver's are typically 3-pins with thinner pin's to allow support for boards such as the ones manufactured by RedDragon. Although, it is not listed anywhere that the k569 is hotswap so you may need to desolder/solder to swap switches
-
ahh that's sucks, was hoping I can put the switches without desoldering :/
-
if you are willing to use the TKL form factor, Redragon also has their K552 which comes with outemu reds which are fairly similar to silvers
-
didn't know k552 come with red switches..

Wanted to drop in and offer another vote for the K552 - aka "Visnu" from Redragon.
That was my first mech keyboard. When I discovered that it had hot-swap capability, I replaced the switches with some Outemu Silent White switches (eventually spring-swapped them with the springs from the original blue switches that it came with).
I hear that Akko CS switches are compatible with Outemu hot-swap sockets. Haven't tried it myself, but I've used Akko switches for a couple of builds, and I'm pretty happy with the result so far!

Yeah, AKKO switches are great. They tend to be on the higher pitched side of things and perform great stock, they also have lubing services.
-
hmm, thinking of buying the akko jelly blue, like the sound of it and might lube it when I learn how to lube with my blue switches
-
i'd personally recommend purples, they have a very high pitched sound and a bump a bit lighter than that of a sp-star tactile
