I'm taking a step back here and not speaking as a moderator, but as a consumer. Let's look at some examples of buys that have encountered issues.
Ctrl Alt: let's face it, their buys in recent memory have gone far from without a hitch, but bunny, tym, and Cody have all been here to face the brunt of it, been very open, and completely honest about the issues they've faced and have gained a lot of loyalty because of it. Am I certain that they still will have issues now and then? Completely, but at the same time, they are learning from their mistakes and remaining transparent about thing.
CF LX: once again, setbacks galore, but any time a question of status comes up, once again, hwood is right there to answer and give any kind of status update.
Electric bluegaloo: life happens, and this was a perfect example. Billnye had exams, and product on hand...once again, updates at all times and no issues with answering questions.
Sprit: disappears for chunks of time, but has ultimately shipped orders. Has some outstanding order, does not update often, but orders still show up now and then.
Then we come to this buy...where the only thing that has resulted is frustration, a complete lack of transparency, desertion, and trickling updates through the grapevine while kin continues conducting business elsewhere. If anything, this has completely shifted my trust as well as some others from both new users (which is a complete shame because some new users legitimately have a lot to offer) as well as the Korean community, especially when you group this in with the Druger incident which this has inevitably mirrored. At this point, regardless of updates and where they're coming from, I'm convinced I will never see this board, and there is no circumstance in which I will be giving Kin more of my money to be jerked around like this. This was the one thing I was looking forward to receiving last year, and it ultimately became the biggest disappointment of 2015 and the biggest waste of money.
P.s. ignore any grammar/typing mistakes as I'm on mobile
