Ducky Shine 2

I was considering getting one of these boards, but I was wondering about caps. With filcos, leos and das boards there is a variey of lovely caps to choose from. From my cursory search online, I couldn't find anything for ducky except full sets. Are the shine keys special (semi transparent) or would any cap work for these? And where would one find some sweet caps like lavender wasd keys or red esc's?

You can put most caps on there and you'll see some of the light shine through, but the stock ducky shine caps have transparent legends that you can't really buy anywhere else. More specifically, they're either ABS or POM, painted black, then the legends are laser-etched to remove the paint in the shape of the legend so light can shine through the transparent layer. The problem with this is that the paint will eventually wear off and light will shine through in a blob and you won't see the letters/characters anymore.

But with standard keys the same is true, only the legend will wear off in the end. I guess the only thing that lasts are the blank and double shots.

Maybe they will come up with a transparent double shot someday...

Well there have been several novelty caps from techkeys like that.
And GMK can do clear legend doubleshots.

I think OP was looking for complete sets that already exist, not a few novelty caps or possible sets that don't exist yet.

Yeah, but realistically I doubt they exist or would cost less than half a dozen new boards...

After reading some past posts, I would be mistaken... but there doesn't seem to be any around now.
