I ordered a Dell 101w keyboard with black Alps and then I ordered a SGI keyboard with what looks like white Alps switches. I then opened up the black Alps and removed the spring, slider and the buckling leaf. Then I placed those parts in the SGI white alps and OMG
I cannot believe the difference! Smooth as silk, pressed in the middle or offset on the edge! I'm not sure what this combination would be called but I's awesome!
