I was close to getting a Revo too, & had they offered a grey version, I would've been totally fine with that and not even been annoyed about this drop.

Yea if it weren't for the fact I was getting maxkeys Miami nights and now have gmk sky dolch, I wouldn't have wanted any of the revo colors. I want gunmetal or silver all the time. Neutral is best.

Wonder if they are already in production or not... They say "R2", so maybe it's coming later (similar to the wait for Fjell R2 ??)

I got the link from a friend sending me the link. Figured that since it was up on the site, I could go ahead and post it to reddit/share it to friends who want them.

There will be more of them. It's a little frustrating that there were so few of these.

I suspect we'll see a lot of them in the future... Type Machina is coming, after all...
QFR (62g blacks) | MJ2 TKL | Realforce 87U | G81-3000 "Schumiboard" | Varmilo Bulgogiboard (Keycon 104) | KBD75 (MX silent blacks) | MIRA (soon!)

ahh, thanks puddsy. can always count on your snarky informitism

Gorgeous!!

If we have the Fjell R1, would there be any reason to get the R2? Are there any changes/improvements to the design?

Yes there are improvements, the walls are a little thinner, the case is a tiiiny bit lower and the weight is new, while maintaining the same classic cutout on the bottom it has a larger and new top design.

Awesome! Sounds like you've been hard at work :) I'm kind of moving towards 77-key layouts so I don't know if I can justify getting the R2, but I feel so tempted... Love your work

Looks great. I'm glad you maintained the bottom cutout, which is one of my favorite parts of the Fjell classic R1.

So it is not the Grey version shown in the comparison photos with the HHKB on the first page? And as such, that colourway will not be available?

Not sure if I will offer that exact grey, however color correction is enough to differentiate grey colors

Is the color survey attached as a screencap an error? Or is it supposed to be some sort of preview?

I am working on setting up a shipping solution, and deciding which places the GB will be available from, depending on other vendors ability to order.

Let's say that it will be targeted heavily at people from Europe, since 1upkeyboards will get their new stock at the same time as the GB starts.

Norway is part of the ETA, and because of that import duties should not apply. You will need to pay VAT of course, but the VAT rate in Norway is very high at 25% so paying local VAT instead is preferred anyway.

1up had 25 that sold out in 90 minutes the night before the email was supposed to go out. You can't buy them as of right now until they are restocked or a group buy happens.

I had one in my cart, contemplated the purchase too long and it was gone.

That's what I mean.
