TKL PCB with per-key RGB?
« on: Fri, 29 May 2020, 21:45:07 »
I'm looking for a TKL PCB with per-key RGB (underglow optional) for making a custom keyboard or swapping into a case.

QMK is a must, VIA would be a big bonus.

Any thoughts?

I legit think there is 0 custom TKL PCB's out there that have RGB backlit and QMK in one sentence that you can buy now. I only know underglow RGB is common these days.

Thanks for the responses. I will keep looking, but it sounds like there might not be anything out there right now...

I've been looking for a while and not found anything.
Companies have all but sold out of current inventory while they redesign for rgb which is too new.

It's not really new, but the keyboard industry is small and very slow moving.

Gondolindrim's Apollo87H exists, but is still in development phase. Also, it's hotswap only so if you prefer solderable, you'll have to make some adjustments.

Do you have an ISO tkl hotswap compatible with qmk or via?

Difficult to buy standalone maybe but the CapsUnlocked CU80's PCB is a TKL with bright per key RGB and at least QMK support.
