Beige Keycaps Australia
« on: Sat, 28 May 2022, 19:58:02 »
Yo,

I was looking for beige keycaps in Australia but there aren't many stores in Australia that offer this (online). In fact, there aren't many beige sets anywhere. I've been looking for dolch and beige keycap sets for a while but can't find anything for a decent price (or without insane shipping for the US to Australia).

If anyone knows anything or can help me out that would be greatly appreciated.
(Also yes, I am aware aliexpress carries these styles of keycaps but I really don't want to buy sets off aliexpress as most stores also carry bootleg sets).

Thanks,

Hey there, I'm based in Melbourne and have a few extra beige and dolch sets lying around, if you're interested in buying one give me a PM.

If you're looking for new in stock stuff, Switchkeys has a few Domikey sets available in stock right now, Vintage, Astronaut and Dolch might all be up your alley. They are all ABS doubleshot sets.

MountainKeyboards also has the Domikey stuff in stock, with individual kits rather than all in one, so may come out cheaper depending on what you need. Also has some beige on pre order.

Daily Clack has GMK Dolch R5 base kit available in stock, Cannoncaps 407, Esper and FBasic might be suitable too, and it has Beige ePBT Arabic and Hebrew though I'm not sure how you feel about sublegends

Otherwise to buy second-hand I would recommend joining all the Discords listed here and browsing the WTS channels.

This Facebook group for Australian keyboard enthusiasts is also very helpful

Good luck with the hunt :)
