Need help with Doubleshot Modifers and filcos
« on: Thu, 02 February 2012, 16:13:20 »
I'm trying to install my RGB modifiers I just got, but for some reason it seems that the left side of the keyboard has little to no room inbetween the caps and the board compared to right sided where gap is bigger.

I'm not sure what to do to make them fit, otherwise I think I might have to use something sharp to reduce the friction inbetween the board and the caps. Unfortunately the only thing I've got under the hand to take a pic is my laptop's webcam so the quality is pretty bad.

This is a common problem with filco/leopold what i did was sand down the bottom edge of the left shift. you cant see this when on the board and it seems to work.

I was afraid that's what I was gonna have to do, I did not see it included in the key swapping wiki tho.
