Come on, people.

Now that the wretched cat/dog pictures are out of the way, and some of us have shamelessly shown off our children, how about some more real stuff.

Old timers, and 1K+ posters, need to step up to the bar.

Only a very few dozen realistic photos have been posted, and this forum has hundreds of members.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

I know I'm late to the party (busy weekend!), but LOL at boiled egg.  That's amazing...consider it stolen.  Also, Demik, those kittens are ridiculously cute.  Hopefully Girlshark didn't eat them all.  Also, in the spirit of convincing all you old timers to post more, here's another one of me (sans Unabomber get up, in Africa forever ago, but I still look pretty much the same):

i just express my feelings

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

...and then I go full out S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat 6 hours later during snowpocalypse.

I stand by the fact that you're only as old as you feel..

I've given this example before, when kids tell me they can't wait to retire, or want to retire at 30, I immediately think, dude I'm ready to die, f...k off with this retirement crap..

If you feel like you're 25yrs at 50yrs... Then that's how old you are.

^I agree with this. I don't want to live to be older than 50, because I feel like I've lived so long as it is. I feel like an old soul in a young man.

do we have a 'how old are you?' thread around here? or would it just turn into a how old do you feel

i'm not much for posting pictures of myself but if i can ever get my hair just right in the sunlight i'll post it up  ;D

I just looked and I don't have a single picture of myself on my computer

Either I'm not self absorbed enough to take pictures of myself, or I'm a loser and never engage in activities that warrant picture taking.
