University Themed Key Caps

Why hello there Geek Hack. This thread is basically an inquiry to see if anyone has bought custom key caps specifically to match their school's colors. I will be attending University in the fall and have been on the fence on buying custom key caps. So I figured, hell, why not buy yellow key caps to put on my black keyboard (my school's colors are black / gold).

So I'm basically interested if anyone else has done this. On an ending note, the key cap set I would be buying would be a blank set from WASD, so only about a 40$ investment.

I'm only in college for the education, Forget sports & colours. Plus if you plan to go to grad school or another college, things can get awkward. Also, orange/maroon suck as colours.

Still, it's pretty cool to have colours so nice looking. I'm glad it worked out for you. As you can see, my schools colours aren't available from WASD, and are also ugly. I'd maybe go in for a orange/maroon 4-16 keycap, but that's it.

Post pictures when they arrive, I'd like to see.

I agree about being in college for the education. While I do enjoy my school's sports and support them, I'm not so hardcore that I get red in the face when someone talks about a rival school. To me, it's just a way to make ordering custom key caps actually have some fun meaning. I plan on ordering a 37 blank yellow key cap set in the near future so I will definitely post pictures that I get them.

I'm still interested if anyone else has done this, or if I'm just :crazy:.

Huh, Actually I love my uni's Ice Hockey team's colors, I'd love to do it, but I don't think anyone will do custom caps. = / Otherwise just blue/white/black keycaps is cool,but just not perfect. I'm seriously considering it xD.

I'll have to respectfully disagree with you Ripster. Nailing cheerleaders is so 90's. Dance team girls are where it's at now.
