Personally, I'm probably going to pick up a pair of navy monk straps and wear them for both business-casual and casual attire.

I've had one pair of Clarks and didn't care for them. Their construction and comfort are both poor. Wouldn't dare touch them for dress shoes - just get Allen Edmonds shoes on sale - and haven't cared for the comfort of their casual shoes.

My feet have been pretty picky with shoes. The arches in my feet are a bit high so I end up with being particular with arch support. I've noticed some shoes have the arch support there but the arch support is further up from where I'd prefer it and it causes me pain to wear for a long time. Just something I've had to get used to.

Olive XR1's - don't like they way the XR1s fit, there is no internal cage like with the Ultra Boost so my foot slides all around the Primeknit sometimes pushing the fabric like half an inch over the sole of the shoe. Also after wearing Ultra Boosts the NMD style boost just doesn't feel as good. Probably won't wear these very often, not a fan.

Same here, I don't like how the XR1 fits. I'm generally not a fan of a "mid-high" cut sneakers. Even so, I dislike how the PK pattern and the cage of the XR1 looks. Just my opinion.
The NMD R2's looks whack as well. I really like the EVA plugs or blocks or whatever people call them as. To me, it is what stands out in a sneaker and the R1 looks very very good imo and adidas choice of removing them for the next version to me is a weird one. Also the PK pattern on them are a little bit too much for me.

Just do what I do. Go to Dubai for a holiday once a year and call year round an Adidas store near where you're going to be staying to hold shoes aside for you.
Wish I was kidding when I say I've been doing this for two years in a row. Didn't call for the triple blacks since I actually enjoy white boosts, but it's fairly easily doable. Outlets in Dubai are very, very, very eager to please.

yes, the r1 nmds are much better looking.
the r2s here were sold out though, but they don't stock up much here in sg anyways

nmd r2 pk. these just arrived today. i wasn't sure about the pattern when these were first revealed, but i changed my mind after seeing some on-feet pics. these actually look quite good especially with the olive color.

i still prefer the r1 pk silhouette, but i think r2 still looks fine and they fit better than the r1s did.

Nah, I went to the adidas store with my sis. She tried them on. Wasn't a fan of the looks.
The PK does feel softer/stretchier and it's a different knit altogether.
I still prefer the knit on the 1.0/2.0 which is really a knit and not a 1 piece.
