Mmmm so clean

I just noticed something today, my 6 key was damaged. I noticed it when I first got the keyboard(Only a few days ago), the top of the keycap didn't reflect light evenly when the sun hit it, but I just thought it was the pastic being a bit wavy or something, but after getting it in the sun today I realized that it has a huge scratch across the whole keycap. The keyboard was all sealed and everything when it showed up, so I am assuming it missed QC or something. It's really noticeable now that I know it's there. I wonder if EK can replace it or not.

I would definitely talk to EK about that. I've thankfully never had to work with their customer service but I've heard good things about it.

I say do this too, even though you've already done so. I've only had pleasant experience dealing with EK.

Yes. It is Orangsicle and it is much lighter actually. But when the whole board is orange, it's easy to be deceived. Here's a closer shot.

That's not a very nice thing to do with your keycaps :p
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

About bloody time! You tried mine at so long ago, and you only now get it. Tsk tsk. Looks so damn good, breh. Love it. LOVE EET. Enjoy the last keyboard you'll ever need.
You showed me the way man, gotta thank you, wouldn't have the guts to buy the 10ae without you. I LUBS EET  :thumb:
How are you liking the 55g domes? They were a tad heavy for my puny fingers even after I let them break in, but they are so crisp and snappy unlike the other weighted variants.

55g is the best keyboard feels I've ever had. I played with Vespers 55g 87u so I kinda knew what to expect :] Yeah, I can imagine it being nicer after break-in  ^-^

And I've been fine with MX Blacks before so I'm fine with stiffness :]
