Help identifying keycap set
« on: Mon, 01 July 2013, 15:00:40 »
First, i'm new, so apologies if this is a stupid question.
I've seen a couple of sets in pictures that look a lot like this:

I love the look of those keys. Is there a name for that style? i see references to a round3/round4 but i'm not sure if thats what they are, or if that relates to the buy as opposed to the keys themselves. any enlightenment would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

does DSA profile relate to the shape of the keys or the font of the lettering?

DSA profile refers to the shape. The letters are called legends.

EDIT: I am wrong! It is not DSA profile, but DCS profile.

(Edit: Forgive me if I misunderstood your response)

Not quite! He is trying to explain that the lettering/etc is referred to as "legends" on a key, like legends on a map.

Or, if you are mostly interested in the colors (dolch colorway) you might be interested in Originative's Dolch Set, which uses the Dolch (white on dark grey/grey) with cherry style legends (again, legends referring to the markings on the keys):
