GMK RGB Blanks Add-on
Early-stage IC with intention to gauge general interest in this kit

TL;DR
Like GMK RGB Add-on kit [link (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=103517.0)], but in blanks

Words of rationale

I am a big sucker for add-on kits, especially the chad RGB add-ons
I enjoy the GMK RGB Add-on kit, but I do not like the legends. In my opinion black legends are suboptimal on the green and, even more so, on the blue background.
I also enjoy the PBT RGB Add-on by Originative [link (https://www.originativeco.com/products/pbt-rgby)], which consists of blanks.
In my opinion, the blank variant looks much better than the one with black legends, because the plain color is clean and uninterrupted. There is also no legibility issue of black on blue under desktop lighting.

Cool idea, as a lover of blanks you've piqued my interest! There is another IC currently running for GMK CR/WS1 blanks (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=112027.0 (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=112027.0)), so the timing is good if nothing else :thumb:

maybe unpopular opinion, but i think the og rgb colors are a bit dated.

don't get me wrong, they still can complement existing set nicely, but out of the 4 colors shown, the orange looks very nice, but i'd much prefer the desko green, blue and red

too bad the desko set doesn't offer a kit just for the colored mods, and like you said, the legend makes it less flexible to combine with existing sets. so i'm not getting the desko even though i like the mods a lot

if you'd keep the orange and swap out the og rgb with the desko rgb, i think it will be a very fresh offering

I do play with the thought of using non-standard colors, however I personally prefer a colder and deeper green, as seen in GMK Taiga, and similar darker and deeper blue.

Using standard colors makes things simpler and cheaper though, and it feels good enough for me, as "inspired" by the following build:

I would suggest whatever the Menu key color ends up being (I voted for DY), add a 1u R4 key to accompany a split RShift's Function key
