Using a xxxl Glorius Gaming mousepad.  Works great, pleanty of room,  and cleaning is just soap and water and dry.

Yeah I think that's the one I'm using currently. It was huge too, I had to cut it to fit my desk.

used to use special surfaced pads but got tired of replacing them when i wore them down. just use a supermat or big elongated desk mat now.

Hard to tell but I'm using RGB hard mouse pad from corsair. I think it's not really good for gaming.

I have been using DKT pads. I love the size and they are still pretty thin.

I bought a hard mouse pad Logitech G440 because of its review but it turn out pretty bad so I had to switch back to cloth mouse pad. For gaming, vote for cloth mouse pad.

I got this 36"x20" one a couple weeks ago: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XWVK1F7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_eweiBbJ1A3E8H

I think it's PU leather. I wanted a pad with no raised edges and a surface that doesn't absorb moisture like cloth.

Definitely not as smooth as a hard surface, but I'm happy with it.

I use this. Love the huge surface area for low dpi gaming. Plus it's low key compared to a lot of other "gamer" deskmats.

What would you guys consider to be the smallest mouse pad for surface testing that could also function as a daily mouse pad? This will be a hard pad.

I have a glass one by Steel Series that I have had for 15 years and it is great.
"It turns out that for a decade, whenever Trump wanted to get a loan, or make a deal, he would inflate the value of his real estate. For instance, suggesting that his 11,000-square foot penthouse was a 30,000-square foot penthouse.
And the attorney general of New York knew that Trump's property values were inflated because when it came time to pay taxes, Trump undervalued the very same properties.
It was all part of a very sophisticated real estate practice known as “lying.”

I had one of those. Had to take a few buses to get one before they completely sold out. I thought it was okay. I oddly prefer hard plastic over glass.

I think they look great at least. I get the feeling cloth would be more comfortable. Which reminds me - this gets my vote!

I am a big fan of the Steelseries Dex.

Mouse performance: Excellent, the mouse tracks incredibly well. Laser and optical both work well.
Surface glide: Smooth but a hint of tactility. A good compromise from other cloth pads that feel too soft.
Durability (will it fray or fall apart after a while?): I've beat the **** outta it and it's going strong.
Ease of cleaning: Very easy to clean. I like toothbrush and soap but I've heard some users even put it in the washing machine.
Material:Cloth, but very thin and feels closer to a "hard" mousepad.
Style: Relatively lowkey. No major branding or graphical annoyance.

I use an Artisan Ninja FX Shidenkai, ordered direct from Japan. It's flexible but with a glass-coated surface. When I first tried it out it was like using an air hockey table. Now every other pad feels like I'm dragging my mouse through the mud. I only wish they made one that was slightly larger, as I game at pretty low sensitivity.

I have used several mouse pads including SteelSeries QCK Heavy, QCK+, Zowie GSR, GSR Red and Blue, HyperX Fury S and some basic $10 ones too.
I will always prefer QCK Heavy over any pad. That's my preference. It doesn't mean it will be best for everyone.

My Logitech G440 is dying since a buble appear and gently expand herself after that the mousepad hit the foot of an aliminium iMac.
I search a replacement and here are some thing to consider.

I got a Razer Sphex 1 for 15€ (slim as a A4 Paper) and this was very good but maybe too fast for control on some FPS. The glue bottom wasn’t working after many times…
I got a Razer Ironclad for 70€. Never buy this **** : The aluminium surface wasn’t straigth and this isn’t a full aliminium deskpad. There is some paint over it who disappear very fast and make the pad innoperative.
The G440 was very good, maybe a little speed but close to the surface I want for my use (Gaming, some FPS etc).

Do you any suggestion before I re-buy another G440 ?  :)

I've been using Steelseries mousepads for 6+ years and after I clean them they still look brand new with zero to little wear.  I think the wear is from the scrubbing pads I use to clean them.

But they're not only great for resisting wear, the performance is perfect. I've been using the same Logitech MX Master mouse for the same amount of time as the pads.

However I don't play games or need any super precise tooling for my job like maybe a graphic artist might.

Mouse rug. If I did not say that already. It is very small but the quality is bar none. Same one 17 years! Plus works great. It has these tiny "hairs", billions of them that makes glide superior. Like floating on air.

I had a glass one. I didn't like it very much. And my office gets a bit humid in the summer so the glass would fog up and make the mouse a bit harder to glide across.
