love it

Take all my money

NO!
-
Uhh lol

I doubt I'll be able to afford this 3090 either :/

I love the creativity but I genuinely doubt you'll be able to sell this in the US (or where IP laws are strict) with a trademarked name: https://www.nvidia.com/content/dam/en-zz/Solutions/about-us/documents/NVIDIA-Trademark-and-Logo-Usage-Guidelines.pdf

Thank you for reminding. I was also wondering whether we would violate the law if we just used RTX, and we added hunter prefix, but it doesn't matter. If it doesn't work, we might change it to RTS, etc. After all, this is just a DIY project involving dozens of people

I suggest reading the trademark doc I posted. Contains all the names that you can't use without licensing.

Can it run Crysis?

Seems to me it would be best to keep the graphics card reference generic anyway. The 3090 is going to be top of the heap for as long as it takes the 4090 to come out. A keyboard should last more than a decade.

From a quick scan of the first few pages, it seems to me you can use “GTX” and “RTX” but not “Geforce GTX” or “nVidia RTX”. Is that right?

China #1 :D

If I were OP, I would contact a trademark lawyer
Then again, I wouldn't personally come up with designs like this in the first place. Legal gray areas are no fun and not worth the potential pain. If your intuition tells you it might be too close, then it probably is.
I would suggest just getting rid of all potential offending branding. If you try to use a "similar" looking word like RTS, it just looks like a cheap Taobao clone of what you're using as inspiration.

Interesting design.............

So what, you would buy this board because you missed the 3090 so you need something expensive on the desk that looks like a 3090 to cry over?
But yeah, trademark. That's gonna eat your ass.
-
Looks cool, but Nvidia will probably crack down on it. Might be alright if you remove the GTX/RTX branding. Would be cool to see if you can do anything with the fan on the front like make it spin, make it into some kind of fidget spinner or turn it into something useful like a rotary encoder.

this is what it's all about. this is what we come here for. this is the stuff.
-
lmao, i would get it if <$100 XD

How about RXT 3009 ? Close enough but technically not the same :)

A custom keyboard with a RGB fan ... you can't be serious ...
-
Yup, here we go. 2021 already pulling out some tricks from its sleeves.
-
Hang on... is the fan a real fan, or is it just some kind of embossing?
The "brushless fan" bit in the original text suggests it's actually a functional fan... or am I totally misunderstanding this?
-
By the time this is manufactured, the Lovelace GPUs will be out and the 3090 will be a thing of the past.

For anyone who's ever seen the UK Top Gear, they have a saying: "Ambitious, but rubbish".
-
Maybe call it Vortex. The logo looks like one. Vortex GTS or something...

You have to be careful about more than just the name btw. The design of the card also likely has IP protection. It’s like the people who design keysets based off a show, clearly they are referencing someone else’s work and trying to profit off it. You need to be careful about that.

Thinking harder about this (as hard as one can think about something like this), I genuinely don't think this is it chief.
You're not gonna have any vendor willing to sell this unless there are significant design changes.
Also as a fellow 国人, this is a continued bad look for Chinese designers. And I know there is a lot of great original stuff from China that's never shown here from zFrontier.
This ain't it chief.

We decided to modify the structure and appearance of the case, so as to avoid some improper designs that people thought would take about half a month, and wait for me to come back
