I've finally gone from all stock (including Enjoying My Feeling) to a little more customised.





The caps are Ducky PBT side-printed. I could do a mini-review if anyone is interested.
The cable is a Pexon PCs custom - I ordered a red paracord but Pexon sent me an MDPC. I'm not complaining, I might reorder eventually to get a curly cable.

Now I'm just waiting for my aluminium case from Tex.

Yep.

It was shipped on the 4th and arrived on the 11th I think. So, a week from Massdrop to the UK.

I got some new keycaps some weeks back for a the GH60 or a 2nd Poker II to be left at the dorm but
I figured that'd be a ways down -- so.. got impatient and just put them on my current Poker II,
which was to be left at home :/ ..

Are these spherical? 7bit is doing a Round 5 Honeywell spherical and I am interested in the red-black combo for the Poker. Unfortunately, all these keys are row 3 only and I would think it will make the Poker very flat. I'm not sure how practical they are.

They aren't the same as the spherical caps in 7bit's round 5. These are DSA profile, the ones in Round 5 are SA profile. This post describes the differences between the different profiles that SP offer http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=45655.msg955882#msg955882

The DSA caps are all the same profile however, it is a bit to normal staggered profile key caps, but I do like typing on them.

That's a great link describing the different profiles and I have bookmarked it. Thanks. Still, Round 5 would have same profiles being all in Row 3 for the red legends including the number row. If anyone has done it before can you share a photo? I guess flat may not be a bad thing.

I have ordered my Poker X (reds) two months ago from kbtrace.com.

It took almost one month to arrive. I knew KBT Europe sucked at delivering in time, but I knew it would arrive eventually because I have already ordered from them, and I think it's pretty much out of stock anywhere else.

I ordered a set of white keycaps with the keyboard, I was not sure what I would do with it, but it was not too expensive.

While I was waiting for the Poker I also ordered 2 Realforce 87U, which arrived very quickly (because EK doesn't suck).

So my Poker has been sitting here doing nothing for the last month.

Yesterday I finally modded it a little bit. Nothing fancy: firm landing pads, some white keycaps, soft rubber feet and filling at the bottom of the case to dampen the resonance.

So here it is:




It's a nice little keyboard. I guess it is very old news for most of you, but I had not been given a chance to actually use it until recently. I'm typing this post with it actually.

That was the only way to get the F&F key on there.  :D  Had to make it fit one way or another.  Worked out well, since I was able to use my extra CMYK caps too.

Added a set of IMSTO Cyrillic Thick PBT to my Poker X with MX-White switches. Previously it had IMSTO blanks, but I found myself hunting and pecking too much with the number row. Besides, I thought the Cyrillic legends would match well with the Claret Red on the MKC 60% case.  I did keep the blank modifiers though.

That's one of my favorite uses of Dolch yet.  It's nice and understated with that alpha set and the case, wrest, and desk are nice and muted, but some contrasting color.  We just need to get you a forest green or burgundy cable.

And I hate to say it, but I kind of like the ogre better.
