Opinions?

Very retro!

Looks nice - a shame all the modifiers don't match.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

It's not a poker, but I love it just the same. Just got the cable in the mail! Thanks Pexon PC's!

**As a side note, for any V60 owners looking to use a Poker case, it DOES fit, but the DIP switch DOES get in the way. I used tiny brass washers to stand the board off a bit. Now it fits perfectly and is really solid.

-V60 Mini with MX Blue
-Red Tex case
-Devil Cord with Carbon Techflex by Pexon PC's
-Red O-ring mod from WASD

Looke so cool, man!
wanna have it?

My poker II with WASD custom keycaps and color. I'm using the GuiFN layout developed by SpiceBar. The Space and Fn keys are flipped.

Are these caps lasered or uv printed with clear coating over them?

Ngt will correct me if I'm wrong, but the keycaps use the latest WASD process, which is UV printing with a clear protective coating on top.

I have posted some pictures including close-ups here:
  https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=57723.0

And I have done an informal review of these keycaps here:

Here is my generic Poker 2 with DSA Dolch and the old fat-lipped TEX aluminum case.

I probably won't go through the trouble of changing/painting the plate black.

I'm no way near being an experienced solderer. I know you can find cheap soldering kit on amazon for example. That could be something to consider if you don't know if you'll like soldering. You won't waste too much money in it and if you discover yourself an interest for it you could still invest more money later.

Considering the fact that you could mess up, you can still train yourself soldering stuff to each other just so you see how it works. After that you could try on real stuff. I don't know if this a good advice but that's how I would proceed if I was afraid of screwing up.

Scan through The Living Soldering Thread for some advice on techniques and gear.  If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask them in that thread.  And of course you can always PM me or a few other people in that thread (I won't volunteer for them) if you have questions you don't want to ask in the thread.  :)  I don't claim to be a top soldering expert, but I've been soldering for years and am happy to help in any way I can.   :thumb:

I have been reading/watching videos on soldering but since I never tried and dont own a solder kit Im worried I might mess up.
Any good ways to practice on keyboard pcbs if I happen to get my hands on a solder kit?

I'm no way near being an experienced solderer. I know you can find cheap soldering kit on amazon for example. That could be something to consider if you don't know if you'll like soldering. You won't waste too much money in it and if you discover yourself an interest for it you could still invest more money later.

Considering the fact that you could mess up, you can still train yourself soldering stuff to each other just so you see how it works. After that you could try on real stuff. I don't know if this a good advice but that's how I would proceed if I was afraid of screwing up.

I should get on this. Im sure it will mean a lot to type on a poker you make yourself. Everything customized.
Thanks for the advice  :thumb:

Scan through The Living Soldering Thread for some advice on techniques and gear.  If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask them in that thread.  And of course you can always PM me or a few other people in that thread (I won't volunteer for them) if you have questions you don't want to ask in the thread.  :)  I don't claim to be a top soldering expert, but I've been soldering for years and am happy to help in any way I can.   :thumb:
I really suggest reading it, I went a while thinking I knew how to solder properly, then realized I was in fact doing it wrong, and make sure you also pick up a stand, they are really helpful.

The Hot keys fit in nicely with what it used to look like. Also where did you get that case from?

I got the case from someone, which he bought from taobao. It is similar to this one that was on massdrop. Might be the exact same case.

Here is where the previous owner got it from. If I remember correctly, the same case was $99 on massdrop.

There are some Poker compatible cases on massdrop right now, Tex Acrylic and Aluminum.
