One pipe breaks

I'm guessing that it was a big-ass pipe.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

The 25 minimum post count for posting to certain forums followed by the imminent auto-reply saying that you are spamming the forums "You have to post 25 times but it has to meet my subjective criteria." Trying to "force" people to post meaningful posts.  :p It's funny actually - kind of a Catch-22 sort of thing.
I get it, it makes sense at first glance but ultimately is a very pedantic thing that does nothing but clutter the forums and irk people. I've been around the block and have seen this sort of thing on all kinds of forums.
In my experience the best forums are the ones least moderated but that's just my opinion.
(Almost there).

Strange habit that serves no purpose but to waste time.

Every time I see a picture of a car in Australia with its registration number visible, I MUST check online to see if the car is still registered.

I HAVE NO CLUE AS TO WHY I DO THIS, BUT I LITERALLY CANNOT STOP MYSELF. It really is a massive waste of time and it is bothering me.

What's bothering me more is the NT rego check site not working. I will never know if the picture of the car in this information booklet is still registered.

IT IS KILLING ME.

In my experience, people are far more likely to maintain their commitments if they have a minimum amount. On Deskthority I ran a GB and guess who didn't pay me? The two people who had less than 5 posts combined. It's not as if 25 posts really takes any effort anyways, I can easily get twice that in a day.

All good, NT rego check is working again. It appears there is no record of the vehicle, I think I found it again in one of their YouTube videos. I have a feeling it may be government owned and exempt from annual registration or something. Nope they just recycle photos. Their annual video from 2015 and 2017 have the same car.

Well case closed on this one.

If I put this vertical GPU mount in an inverted ATX case will the GPU heatsink be facing the mobo?
More

Shouldn't be that hard to think through, I'm bothered that I can't be confident about it.

I can't see the picture, it's not https.

But, I don't think i've seen any gpu mount where that would be the case..

The gpu heatsink should always be facing away from the motherboard.

Thanks - image fixed.

You're right that all the brackets are designed to 'show off' the heatsink, but that assumes the heatsink usually faces down.  But if the heatsink faces up (mobo is inverted) the bracket is upside-down so the GPU would face the 'wrong' way, which would actually be right for my use.  I think...

I'm still not sure :))

Will do, its final form is some way off though.

Also which way do you think the inverted vertical GPU will finish up?  Not sure I'll need one if I cut a replacement case back but not knowing is still bothering me!

If I'm reading this right the motherboard is horizontal (like in a benchmarking chassis) and the GPU will be horizontal as well. I want to say that the GPU would vent air up and out of the case. But then again, visualizing this build is making my brain squishy lol.

Neighbor locks himself out of his apartment. That's fine, we let him nap on my couch. He's here all day. Sure, the heat index is 101, so why not. He then proceeds to urinate all over my couch in his sleep. The couch I inherited from my grandfather. He does it so badly the couch is soaked and the entire apartment smells like urine. We can't keep the couch now. We have to throw it out. Augh.

I'm a new dad, I find myself constantly worrying about my newborn son not eating enough, sleeping enough, etc.... He is only three months old now, I truly wonder when I will feel like I can finally don't have to worry about everything related to him. Not in a bad way, but like a general caring father/parent kind of way I guess

It's like that for the first few years. The primary respite that you get is in grade school, mostly that is pretty safe and benign until somewhere up around middle school, when "real-world" stuff really starts to encroach and you need to hope that they have a good school and nice friends.

When you get to "Daddy, can I borrow the car?" it gets frightening, and then they leave home for college or whatever.

The answer to your question is "probably never"
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

Yeah we've got middle school coming this next year and I'm definitely not ready for that...it's 5th-8th grade.

Man, that would have made me so angry. Has he done anything for reparations?

Would it not be possible to keep the frame and remake the soft parts?
