I've used it before, I'm trying to convince myself to do a full kit render of my own like the ones in the OP. Maybe this weekend.. Although for the purpose of just showing what keys come with the kits, the KLE screenshots do a good job.

CMYK/PB GMK renders:

Waiting on an update on the base kit - the Win95 logos would be pad printed (RIP) so I'm going with the winXP style one.

Wowww I've never seen that board before, I love it. The alphas weren't meant to match but they do look pretty darn close.

The Commodore has an outstanding mix of a great layout along with a nice color way. Opposite of the traditional black on beige of the era, with darker modifiers. It is a shame we do not have such variety of layouts these days, in mechanicals, at least.

Any thoughts on using the yuri icon mod legends, since you are using icon only mods elsewhere?

I saw them and considered them, but I like the mix of pure icons + pure text more for a modern-classic feel.

There is an EU proxy, working on finalizing details with them.

Correct, no word on pricing yet. I expect to get the final base kit render + pricing during the next week.

I would love to get my hands dirty with a few sets if the Norde keys was added to this GB.

I'm really hesitant about an international kit simply because I don't know if the demand is there. I'm willing to ask GMK to do a render, at least.

Any thoughts on a ergoblanck kit?

What's that outer 1.25u keys for? I prefer the kit with legend like recent Nautilus. Again, since the mould is already there, the price won't skyrocket.

1.25u keys, i forget exactly but I believe just to add some more functionality to the set. The idea for blanks is to allow the kit to be cheaper.

Thanks! I'm glad I could get a solid layout pinned down, incl. the extra spacebars it's 163 keys which is on the higher side but I believe it will still be relatively affordable.

Thanks, a render is always nice to look at and wipe tears to - when i cant order a set  :p

There is always the ability to add the keys to the base set. ;)  CP from Wodans quote fro m GMK

EDIT - UPDATE:
Got a response from GMK regarding the markup when adding the originally planned 35 keys to a common GMK base kit (100+ keycaps) and the estimate is 16,50€ at MOQ 150! That should be LESS THAN 20$  even with tax&customs&currency conversion!

I'll toss it around with the other guys I'm working with and get their input. 150MOQ will be tough to reach I'd think.

No chance of adding $20 worth of keys to the base set either, wouldn't be worth it to the majority that wouldn't use them.

That twenty markup is fare; but for those in need of the extra kit, only. But for those that do not need it is a lot. Even more, those not needing it are the largest part of the potential demand. Think twice if adding the international set may be in the best interest of those making the bulk of orders for the set. Previous group buys proved demand for international tend to be extremely low, even for those sets that sold hundreds. I wonder if ANSI users may want to pay extra for something they will never use. Even worst, with special color kits like this that do not match any OG sets.

Yes - 1.25u R4 Menu icon key is replaced with 1.25u R3 Fn key in the final renders.

Update: I've been told by GMK that we should have pricing this week.

Awaiting the last set of renders from GMK, as well as pricing on CMYK and PB. We have pricing for the base kit :)

Final CMYK kit - the R4 orange Fn keys have been replaced with Menu legends.

We've also removed the Win7 logo keys in the base kit, in favor of just the Code keys.

The TU2 spacebars have been removed from the main kit, and will now be a seperate kit (6u, 6.25u, 7u). I figure this will give people with other TU2 sets a chance to get some cyan spacebars aside from the main kit.
