I will... noticed the poker plate. Would it be possible to get the hhkb plate, and assembly on it, or is it to late?

I don't think they want to do any order changes at this point.

Perfectly fine. What would I do to go about getting the HHKB plate then? :)

Gotchya, didn't realize that those would be available afterwards (thought it was just going to be the PCB).

Yeah, Infallible, I'd be very interested in it. I'm not sure on the specifics of switching the order... I think its a matter of messaging WFD or jdcarpe, but I could be mistaken. If you'd be willing to give me the order just let me know :D

Have no idea if they will be available, but you don't have to have a plate to get the HHKB layout either, just so long as you have PCB stabilizers and PCB mount switches.

Just consider it like getting a time quote on software development, never a good idea to put much stock in it.

GH60 proto for sale on taobao? http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.75.dOvlTw&id=35830618978

Wow.  Includes switches and keycaps for $74.  (According to google translate)  Crazy...
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10.1.w4004-4533670328.1.ZwrTZd&id=35861870171

The TEX case on that one gave me the info I needed to deduce that these are from the Taiwanese group buy. It wasn't really publicized, but I knew it was happening. I think they used the Rev B PCB files, so the backlighting bug likely exists in these. I guess the Taiwanese were too anxious to get them to wait for the final production revision. Although, I haven't talked with the Taiwanese organizer, so this just speculation on my part.
No,You got it wrong, it does not matter in Taiwan, this is my own doing【i use google 翻译】

Not Taiwanese.
BTW, the link in Tao-Bao is selling switches and PCB. not included caps

Ah, okay. Thank you for clearing that up. Seems someone must have run a mini GB for them, since there is more than one showing up for sale on taobao.

Bueller: I think Sherryton may be offering WoB GMK sets on Originative soon. He did mention something about 3 new GMK sets coming soon.

Before shopping it, we need to communicate with the seller.  Or you can not buy it.
and the price is not the whole Price, is just a deposit for the keyboard.

Is it normal for the plate to be cut like that on the mounting hole?
That is the universal plate Domo. You can run any setup with those (minus ISO, unless you got a Uni ISO).

I know that it is the universal plate.
I was trying to point out that the upper corner of the right shift is cut where the mounting hole is.
it is hanging in mid air. I know that it is thick steel and can take the flex of being used.
it just looks odd.

could someone please comment on the weird cut by the right shift mounting hole?
here is what I am asking about zoomed in...
should the hole be a little smaller so that it is not broken like this?

Matt I will probably have an extra plate because I bought one of those Hammer plates.  However the ones I got from this GB are the universal plates if you are cool with that.

I'd love to take over someone's gh60 pcb spot if anyone's looking to get out.

I'd be excited to buy a gh60 from someone who ordered too many (if that's even possible).

I wish I'd joined geekhack a year ago. Such a cool project and group buy.

I mean i still got mad respect for the GH60 GB team but at this rate how is it even possible that it could arrive in Jan-Feb. Plates, Stabilizers, Stitches, and Custom Stabilizer wires have to be acquired/made as well on top of rev3 production and then the packaging and shipment of hundreds of orders. March? April? I'm thinking the worst honestly, prove me wrong guys!

I'm being conservative and trying not to get my hopes up too much for any time before summer. I'm fine with waiting. It's well worth it. And I still need to figure out what to do about a case anyway, since I'm broke for now and the foreseeable future, and all the nice cases are bloody expensive...

From my end, I can tell you that the switches were held up due to Cherry's production schedule. There is absolutely nothing we can do about that. I have about half the switches we ordered. The remaining switches should be coming soon.

komar is working on the final PCB revision, but he is a busy guy, with a life and all that comes with it. It will get done.

WFD is still involved, but his time is also limited. He has some stabilizers, but needs to order the remaining. He is also handling the plate orders, but that has not been a huge rush, until we can get the PCBs manufactured.

I don't foresee the PCBs and plates being ready before switches and stabs, but I can't say for sure. For me, I will ship any orders I am responsible for shipping as soon as those orders are complete.
