The 3 left are presoldered. I'm not sure if I have to get it first since they're not changing orders anymore?

I'll need an address change as well, jdcarpe :)

I can't remember. Am I getting a diy or presoldered one from you?

Shall keep an eye out then :)

Still looking for information regarding what key codes this keyboard is able to output? essentially I am looking for an Eject key for OSX. (which I understand is different from a windows one?)

Want to be able to put a mac to sleep/shutdown/display off with the keyboard.

It's not done by default, especially because this wouldn't fit acrylic cases.
Sounds like it will collide with about every aluminium case as well. Added depth below the the top row?

First off , thank you for those that made this happen.

This has been such a long time since I made the order so forgive me if I miss anything out. I have ordered 70 x red switches initially and intend to do ergo clears. I already have the clear switches and intend to ship them to whoever the kind soul who is gonna assemble them for me. However I do not know how to identify that person. I hope to receive some guidance.

Thanks!

You should contact tjcaustin about that. And please be aware that stem/spring swap is not included in the $25 assembly fee that people paid for with the GB orders.

There is a Media Eject function. Not sure if this works in the same manner as the OSx one. Might have to ask about this in the questions thread.

There has been only one.

Considering how much blood, sweat, and tears, not to mention time, has been expended on getting this ... what, seven months? completed, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Mechanical Keyboards will likely mass produce the board once folks start getting theirs assembled and pictures posted. Might be another six months, but aside from sales in the classifieds, I think that's going to be the fastest way to get one of these babies.

Hi all, haven't been on GeekHack much of late because of being busy with life. Just checking around the Group Buy threads to see the status of what I have ordered, this seems to be the only one going in a positive direction :( So thanks to all those making it work :thumb:

I was just wondering if anybody is thinking of making a guide when the orders finally get shipped of how to solder these things together now. I'm not too bad at soldering its just that there seems to be some extra work around the soldering of the module (?) and the LED's (?) that needs to be done before the plate and switches can be put on. I would hate to have waited this long and then screw a board up when I receive them and I'm positive other people are feeling the same. It would be greatly appreciated! :D

Sorry if this has already been mentioned somewhere else but this thread is huge now  :p

According to this post (from this thread):
Okay guys, so a status update:
The PCBs have been produced and the US/Canada part is being shipped to tjcaustin. imsto's package is on its way too, directly from China.
The plates have been ordered, and they should take another week to finish production, according to ApocalypseMaow.

Since I'm responsible for everything that isn't USA or Canada, here's an extra status update for those people:
I thought I'd manage to ship the plateless orders before the ones with plates, but I won't. This has to do with our European taxes, and my beautiful country's taxes in particular. I will wait until the plates are ready to be shipped to me and then ask our PCB fab to send the boards, so that they come more or less at the same time. I won't go into details, but this is because I'd have to pay extra tax if my whole process takes too long.

Soon indeed. Production "should" (according to the above estimate) be complete soon. Then after some handling time, they should be shipping.

My reasonably optimistic guess is "sometime this month," but it could totally be next month.

The plates will be done by the end of next week. Production is taking a bit longer than ACC thought. They apologized and hoped we're not missing any deadlines... lol
As soon as I have them counted and checked, I'll be driving them to TJ for building/packing/shipping.
Enjoy your transparency

Just so no one gets their hopes up prematurely, please realize that ordering stabilizers was one of the responsibilities we "inherited" from WFD. As far as I know, WFD never ordered the stabilizers, and doesn't have any currently. And we are having a slight problem in sourcing them, as everyone seems to be out of stock. If anyone has a source of available stabilizers, please let us know.

I think I have a 7x wire at home (I have to double check).  It shouldn't be too hard to bend your own once you have a reference to work from.

I saw someone made a lego case for his board. Any lego hackers care to give a gh60-lego case a try?

If it was one of the few Lego cases made for a poker, then it already fits the GH60.   :thumb:
