Someone just asked me where these PCBs were made and I am completely blanking on this.  Who did we use to actually get the PCBs printed?

I know it was in China but that probably isn't specific enough, my searchfu is weak this morning. I wanna say maybe pcbwing but that might have just been the phantom.

Pretty sure it WASN'T pcbwing, but I can't remember now who it was. Komar would know for sure. :)

No worries.  He was asking who we use for PCB printing.  I pointed him to OshPark since his job is pretty small...

Is TJ only doing US? Komars shipping to CA as well for international?

This is what I'm wondering too. I need to change my address.

Haha, I even typed up a response to him saying "You haven't gotten your shipping notice?  I got mine last week.", but I also thought it would be a bit too much of a touchy subject to pull the April 1st stuff on.  :P

PCB's have been finished for like a year now right?
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

And the plates and stabs should be at least to TJ by now, yet we continue to get no updates and no timeline for when things will happen.

I feel like I've been *****y about a lot of stuff of late, but it feels like there's just been so much bull**** needing to be called out.  This is by far the biggest bit of bull****.  At this point, TJ took my money about two years ago.  People were all over Sprit when he gave more updates and most people hadn't even waited a year.  Hell, even Toxic is practically done (aside from the USB cables) and that suffered through silence and the US distributor practically going AWOL.

I just want my investment in this to be treated with respect.  And with no updates since November of last year, I'm feeling pretty disrespected.

Totally agree, if it was me I'd be jumping up and down like crazy.

I've noticed TJ has no problem posting in other threads so it's pretty BS that he just ignores this.

You do what you can, but you're not the leader or the one with everything on hand.

As for Christmas, right now it's been 680 days since I've paid.  Christmas would be 942 days, which is just shy of 2 years and 7 months.  Unless you're a government or military contractor, a year and a half project overrun on a year long project (or, from the OP, a three to six month project from payment date with a 2 year plus overrun) is beyond unacceptable, especially when there are no updates ever in this thread.

I just want an update with a timeline instead of absolute silence and, the few times anything has actually been said, getting fed the same bull**** over and over.  I'm sure others are in the same boat, but they just aren't willing to pipe up.

its not that simple

the real bulk of the work isnt jsut shipping this stuff out, its all the smd and build work

its a huge and daunting thing to organise, let alone start

im sure now all the parts are coming together, TJ will be working out how he is gonna attack this, and once he is ready will finally update here

i think people should take a step back, and realise the environment they are creating here, and how hard it must be for TJ to come in to it and post the updates everyone wants

its pretty clear that all the parts are either on hand now, or about to be, this is when the clocks starts, give the man a chance to get this together, and judge him from this point forward
I'M IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING RIGHT NOW, WILL BE BACK AROUND SOON
