Does the new spreadsheet include orders that were taken over?

I took one over in addition to my original order.

from what im told, we worked form the most up to date sheet

that being said, again ill be confirming everything as i go through, so if anything like that comes up, we will be able to catch it

When I placed my order 2 years ago I was planning on soldering the board myself but now I'm not sure I can..
Would it be too much trouble to have it assembled?Of course I would pay for that on top of the donation to get all of this sorted.
Also,in case that's not possible, since I also have to receive the Toxic keyset if you want to save the GB's shipping money Bunny, you can combine the two orders :)
Thank you guys for all the hard work!

Those should be for resistors, correct (since those are the positions that support LEDs).

The exact details are escaping my mind right now, but IIRC it's not wired for full-LED without the LED expansion module.  The expansion module adds either hardware (controller) or something similar to accommodate.  But as I said, this is *not* official information and is from memory (a 2 year old memory, at that :P ).  Someone please correct or confirm!  :)

The PCB has holes [...] It will be up to the user to determine a workaround to get all other LEDs working.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. You're telling me this board isn't done?!?

I think this calls for a complete overhaul of the entire concept! Re-do the board, everything!

Don't you all agree?

I quickly assembled a GH60 keyboard to verify the that PCBs are actually working.

Here I present to you my first GH60 keyboard with a prezzy crazy layout (that's what custom keyboards are for, right?)

I found that the pads are a bit harder to solder than I'm used to, but nothing too bad. Probably the 2 yo PCBs started to oxidate, but anyway it is working. I'll make some more tests, but I believe it's a go.

I'm said shipping will start tomorrow.

clean the board with isopropyl alcohol, splash some liquid flux and you are good to go. they are just a pinch harder to solder than I'm used to. Lead doesn't flow as well as I would expect, but totally feasible.

OK, cool, cheers Matt. I think maybe I should have gotten the pre-built, as time is a little more sparse than it was when I ordered it. I will set a few hours aside one of the evenings to do it, should be easy as long as the solder takes then

the pcb board is complete based on the goals of the project originally.

You won't be, I imagine. A very small number of people ordered raw PCBs to solder things together on their own. Everyone else will have a PCB with all SMD soldering already done.

One of the boards I got was a DIY board, so I expect I will probably have to do all the smd work on it...

Indeed, the spacebar is a linear white. I've got WoB doubleshots that I could put on it, or even BoW...I'll probably be chucking the caps from my FaceU on it so it'll look basically like this.

.

With a bit of luck I'll get it programmed tonight and should be up and running by tomorrow :D.

edit - I had to tweak TMK a little to get an ISO keymap working, see below for keymap and keymap_common (note - this has a split backspace and right shift. Also, I'm not an expert by any means, but this is what I'm currently working on and seems to be doing fine...Also, its WIP, once I've got it confirmed I'll post it somewhere people will actually see it...Oh, and I've had a few beers...).
