Huge credit to those getting this GB going again.  However after such a long time I've already resigned to the fact I'll never see any actual results, furthermore my enthusiasm in all things keyboards, customs and key caps  has waned having moved in to other interests.... I just don't know what to do with my order...

I quickly assembled a GH60 keyboard to verify the that PCBs are actually working.

Here I present to you my first GH60 keyboard with a prezzy crazy layout (that's what custom keyboards are for, right?)

I found that the pads are a bit harder to solder than I'm used to, but nothing too bad. Probably the 2 yo PCBs started to oxidate, but anyway it is working. I'll make some more tests, but I believe it's a go.

I'm said shipping will start tomorrow.

 

That is one damned fine colorway. Can't wait to see how it looks in SA.

we have arranged someone to receive the US stuff, we just need to arrange a courier service to pick it up from TJ, right now im in the process of moving, ill be in the new house and sorted in about 10 days, so until then my time is extremely limited, im doing what i can when i can, but itll be about 10 - 14 days until i am able to tackle this 100%, including sorting stuff in the US

those are the names in the batches i have for EU orders, if you took over your order from someone in the EU, and their name is up there, contact them and get them to contact me and confirm the change etc

i guess not, i may have missed some, once again, im in the process of moving so not really online much right now

that is all of the ones on the form i was given

that isnt to say that is all of them, and that there are not mistakes, im just working from what i was given, i havent been a part of this gb at any point, so im not privy to all the changes etc right now, what i can say is that i will be confirming every single order, and if im missing any info, or if there are mistakes, i will get it ironed out

right now its a case of one step at a time, if anybody feels they should be included that isnt, it wont be an issue to work out why and confirm details and get them added to the list etc

please just bare with me for 10 - 14 days whilst im moving house so i can sit down and properly get on top of all this

@BlueBar: I took over one of those orders also, and I have yet to ever see any visual confirmation of that other than my paypal receipt. I do also have an original order.

Bunny, I didn't mean that as any type of statement against you. Very much appreciate what you're doing. I know you can only work with what you have. I was just telling BlueBar and putting it out there that I have never seen a confirmation spreadsheet that had the updates on it from those of us that picked up unpaid orders after the payment deadline. It's been asked several times in this thread but I don't think the master order list was ever updated. At least not a public version. So if BlueBar's order is not on your list, then I guess it's likely that the other unpaid orders that were picked up are not on your list either.

tonight i will message everybody in batch one via pm

i will be asking to confirm address, confirm order, and whether or not you would like pcbs/switches etc ahead of time whilst we are waiting to get plates and stabs, i do have some stabs on hand so in some cases i can also offer to send those

once i have done that, i will update each name in batch 1 to pm'd, once i get a reply, i will  then post a status, as in waiting for plate and stabs, sending partial order, not replied etc

anybody in that list who opts to have what we have on hand sent in advance, i will be able to ship that on friday, after that, any shipments have to wait until i move in to the new place on august 1st

once i have dealt with a good percentage of that batch, i will move on to the next and so one, i know some people in the list wont currently use gh, where that is the case and i dont get a reply, ill update that status to held, until i hear from them, once i have completed all batches, i will then make up a new batch of held orders, and try other means of contacting them

ive noted what epople are saying about people who took on unpaid orders, and i will try and obtain a list of these people and confirm with them

right now, nobody is to blame but me on that sir

im sure someone, most likely TJ has a list of those, as he took payments i assume

what i worked from was a spreadsheet i was told was the most up to date, obviously that is either not the case, or it hadnt been properly updated

whatever the reason, since finding out about it, as of yet, i havent looked for answers, like 90 % of my time right now is spent packing cleaning and fixing things ready for my move, about 8% more of my time is taking the wife to pregnancy appointments etc, and with what times left, its all i can do right now to just keep up with responding to people and things rather than actively get something done

i know its all bad timing, but as mentioned before, come around august 1st, ill be able to far more actively chase things up and get things in order, but before chasing new stuff, im just trying to get what info and parts i have in order, and try and actually get what i can moving

that being said, ill send TJ and message now, asking what dates are good for him for the conus stuff to be picked up, and if he has a list of the unpaid orders that got picked up by other people

To add some info in case it's helpful since the thread is now so massive, this is the link to the post where unpaid orders were placed up for grabs. You can follow the posts afterward to see who claimed what. Maybe that's helpful, idk.

For me personally, I posted what I wanted in the thread, received a PM from jd, PMed my paypal info to jd, was invoiced by TJ and paid TJ.

i just got 3 updated lists from tj, ive been at a wedding all day though annoyingly and had a few too many drinks to even think about it now, but once i get to it ill update the batches accordingly
