Samwisekoi is in contact with TJ for taking over the US PCBs and the plates. He will then send them to other volunteers who will be shipping to the end points.

This happened last week. I have no news yet but I bet Samwisekoi will get all the boards soon.

That's the last thing I've seen about it. What concerns me is finding enough reliable volunteers to handle the shipping to the end points.

The way I see that going down is things get shipped 2 and 3 times and as is inevitable with how things operate they end up with someone who is too busy or doesn't have time etc etc and some people get their stuff and others are still stuck waiting.

Having said that I do appreciate any and all movement forwards on this group buy and can't wait until it is finally completed.

That update Ray put is the last I saw.  It's very ambiguous and up in the air, that's why I was asking if we have any sort of update or confirmation.

so this is where we stand

i have contacted 5 of 6 batches of non conus orders, i have now shipped everyone who requested shipping on those first 5 batches

i will be contacting batch 6 shortly and doing the same

in the meantime i am working with swill who is putting together a quick update website linked to the sheet (need to message him back)

whilst this is happening, samwisekoi is currently arranging collection of the conus order from TJ

once he has those on hand, he will sort and send me the non conus stabs and plates, and i will ship those to the people in batches 1-6 who replied to my pms

anyone who hasnt replied to me by the time i have completed that, will go in batch 7, where i will try and email them and then wait for a response

i have spoken to several people who have donated soldering time, and im now confident we wont have an issue with either conus or non conus on building

I found that the first couple of weeks were mental and then there was like a 6-8 month period of calm, after which teeth started appearing, crawling started happening and sleeping for more than a few hours at a time was a dim and distant memory.

Still, it's great fun; so much so we did it twice .

Ya, the first month you don't know which way is up.  Then you can start to figure out what is realistic to commit to and then once you think you have a system, then teething happens and your system is crap again.  Haha...

Could be a pin on the controller that needs to be reflowed. Either that, or a bad diode in that column.

Something like that would be great if we haven't already got one! I'm not going to be doing anything with my PCBs until I get the plates and stabs through, but I was just staring at the PCBs thinking "Well, where the hell do I start with these?", I've been out of the community and the GH60 threads for so long I can't remember how to custom keyboard anymore

have you tried TMK? it takes a little study/reading to learn but it's a great firmware for a lot of boards (i have it on 2 different boards now) https://github.com/tmk/tmk_keyboard
