Some orders requested for costar 7x wires. I'm not sure this will be available, as WASDkeyboards is not able to provide them. Costar stabilizers are $7 per set.

If costar 7x wires aren't available, then can you change mine to PCB-mounted stabilizers with 7x wires?

Is it simple to make your own?

you would need the right wire and a wire bender.
also you would need measurements on where to bend it.

Would you still need a 7 stabilizer if you are going to do the split spacebar? or would you need two 3.5 or something?

Hi, I'm sorry to be dense.  One question I had was clarification on where to order switches.  Thank you Mauri and Mkaito for clarifying to order here, not 7-bit.

Do I need to get 12 of the switches PCB-mount and the others plate-mount if I'm using the universal plate?

Did we ever decide about WASD LED's?  What is the LED color?  Is there a choice?

Could someone please check my order?  I want 2x Poker clones with the option to switch to HHKB layout later.  Just switches for 1 now.  I can solder myself.  (maybe this will also help others who are a little unsure of their order)

---
GH60 PBC quantity *$40 per PCB, SMD presoldered: 2

GH60 DIY kit quantity*$25, requries SMD soldering: 0

Universal ANSI plate: 2

Universal ISO plate: 0

Poker plate quantity ANSI 1.25x: 0
...

Switches and stabilizers (stabilizers are in sets, each set is enough for 1 whole keyboard. Switches are per switch)
Costar stabs, Plate-mounted, PCB-mounted cherry stabs (specify spacebar wire size). The switch color you want. FORMAT: quantity x item
2 sets PCB-mounted cherry stabs (6.25 spacebar)
14x PCB-mount brown switches (a few extras)
53x plate-mount brown switches (a few extras)

Thanks for the help!

For clears, you can get mx greys, they have the exact same stem. I don't imagine very many will use the stock clear springs.

I didn't realise that you could use MX Greys for an ergo clear mod. Excellent! I've updated my order.
Thanks again for this excellent group buy. Really looking forward to putting my GH60 together. :D

According to "Phantom Group Buy" in DT wiki, there was STAB700(Costar 7 units stabiliser). http://deskthority.net/wiki/Phantom_Group_Buy
Does anyone know how did the Phantom organizers provide Costar 7 units stabilizer?

well you can order on the GH60 order form in the OP, or you can go to Deskthority and get the switches via that GB. I am getting half of my switches from somewhere else separate from this GB, and the second half on my GH order form. Not sure at the moment which one goes faster, but i will come back and update you.

Also, today is the final day to submit an order, so figure out what you want!

I put in a new order to replace my existing one (noted it in the comments).  The new one landed, but it appears the original hasn't been removed.

Not trying to be impatient, I know there is a lot of churn going on right now as the deadline nears.  Just wanted to make sure I noted it.  As much as I would love more GH60's, I'm pretty sure that would not be "good for my marriage." :)

Thanks!

Order looks correct to me. The mix of PCB mount and plate mount switches will work great for your assembly. There will be holes with solder pads for LEDs on every switch, but no traces to them. I'm still not 100% sure if the WASD-Esc will have traces for LEDs, but I believe that is the plan.

Also @heedpantsnow You may need 2x 7x spacebar  wires if you want a true HHKB layout.

You need a 7x wire, which is why I ignored your last order change request. :)

UPDATE:

THE SWITCH SUPPLIER JUST INFORMED ME THAT THE ONLY GREY SWITCHES HE HAS ARE ACTUALLY LINEAR (DARK GREY).

THESE WILL NOT WORK FOR "ERGO-CLEAR" MOD.

SORRY FOR ANY CONFUSION, AS I WAS JUST INFORMED OF THIS JUST NOW. IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL SWITCHES, PLEASE SUBMIT AN ORDER CHANGE REQUEST.

You can still order MX Clear or MX Grey (tactile) from 7bit on Deskthority, or we will place the order with 7bit if you order them through this GB.
