Switches bought through this GB will ALL be PCB mount (MX1A-xxxx/NW). Even if you specified plate mount, you're getting PCB mount switches, as we stated long ago this would be the default and only option.

I thought they were pcb mounted but pate supported. If that makes any sense.

PCB mount or plate mount are just colloquial names assigned to the fact that one has mounting pins and the other does not. All switches from this GB will be PCB mount switches.

If you're discussing the actual mounting of them, the PCB supports the mounting pins, and plates support either/or. I think it's important for the switches here to be PCB mount, seeing as the PCB supports it, and because not everyone is going to use a plate.

All MX switches mount to a plate with no issues. These have the two plastic pins for PCB mounting on supported PCBs (of which the GH60 PCB is one). If you want to mount these PCB-mount switches on a PCB that doesn't have the proper holes for the plastic pins, you just snip off the plastic pins and proceed. Plate or no plate, you can use these switches with the GH60 PCB.

Wait, what keys besides caps can have leds?!

All are plate supported.
The only difference is extra pcb supports on the pcb ones.

If a board has the holes, you are better off using them, if it does not, you can always grind them off.

That layout is possible. That would be the Max Keys plate, though the Left shift and the key next to it would be switched around. Or you could just do it without a plate.

I thought the Universal ANSI plate could do all the layouts including the max keys layout?
My main concern was the pcb switch positions. Thanks!

I meant to include the plate mounted stabilizer set. I can't tell if it was included. I don't think it was and I was already invoiced.

I'm petty sure that's the only thing I'm missing.

Just received the invoice. It's due immediately? I'll need 2-5 days to move money around before I can send payment. I'm a couple dollars short on my Paypal balance.

Thank you for your hard work!

Pretty sure we're firm on if you're paid already, your order is locked. But I sent you a PM and copied TJ, who is doing the invoicing.

Sorry for not replying earlier, I've been out of the office all morning on the road.

Hi! My invoice had shipping (international price) added to it but I really dont know where I'll be by the time this ships (will be in California if it's September.) This caused my order to be 150.37 :/ Can I, instead, have a shipping invoice resent for when the board is ready to ship to me or when a shipping time is confirmed? Because I really don't want to pay extra if i'm going to be in the USA by the time this ships :/
Thanks~

One question though:

I ordered 2 different plates and chose 1x assembly service. I wrote in the order form which of the two I want to have assembled, but this information doesn't show in the confirmation spread sheet anymore.

How does the assembly guy know which switches to solder on which PCB/plate combo?

This:

I want 1 board with these specifications assembled by you guys:

1x GH60 PCB
1x ISO 1,25 Plate
1x Costar stabs, Plate-mounted

+ white Cherry MX switches ordered via 7Bit on Deskthority.net

The rest of my order is for me to build a second board:

1x GH 60
1x ISO universal plate
1x Costar stabs, Plate-mounted
1x PCB mounted cherry stabs (spacebar 6,25)

is still in the comments.
