And after those of us who ordered PCBs received their orders, there are bound to be extras sold in the classifieds.

I never do this, but...

I stay busy with work and family these days, but I'm still around, lurking.

tjcaustin has paid for the prototype and I have made some final changes and sent the files, so we're now officially waiting for the prototypes to be shipped. I'll publish the final rev. B files later.

If everything goes well, there will be an expansion module for backlight sold separately.

if everything goes well, then GH60 will start a keyboard company, then the company will design a new switch better than anything we have ever seen before, then it will start sponsoring Progamers, changed the keyboard paradigm, and we all will be there to say... we were there when the GH60 started everything off.

So the board will have a header and the LEDs to be soldered on now before switches and plate or during so that you don't have to take it all apart again. Will the header be included in the kit to facilitate that?

I am assuming the expansion module for led control will require another controller? Do you have anything specific you can disclose about he led module?

It all comes down to how many of them we want to produce.

There will be a 2nd round, but probably next year or so. There will also probably be some in the classifieds when they're shipped.

You probably will be able to get one from the classifieds. I'm sure someone will sell his GH60.

Someone might even use their extra PCBs and cases to build up a custom modded GH60 and sell that. These possibilities exist. :)

Led module sounds like fun specially with the Nathan set coming in the near future. I'll probably need four of them depending on price.

It freaks me out every time I see Nathan since that's my name too.

And I'm really looking forward to the LED modules.  The GH60s will look sexy with them...well, at least to those of us who like LEDs.

Is order #7 still available? I'll take it if it is.

It looked like a Goodfella might've gone for it, but I don't see a price or name on the spreadsheet.

No worries if I am a little slow piping up here. Just thought having 1 more GH60 would be better.

The deadly deadline is midnight between Sunday, 14th and Monday, 15th (CST)

After this time we're closing all leftover orders, so that we can count everything up without stuff changing all the time. There will be no deadline moving any more, so grab the final leftovers and pay until deadline!

They are done with picking up orders or editing orders. We can trade plates or complete orders. I don't believe they will change the shipment or orders either. I believe that is up to the original purchaser once the item is received.

You're too late for this unfortunately.  You can hope that someone decides to sell theirs once they receive it and post it in the classifieds section later.

Hi guys, this plate is for preparation of the add-on module that will come after the PCB. I'm not sure if I'm going to leave it on just the universal plate, or I should add it on all of them. It allows you to solder the extra pins from the top.

i think it would be appreciated if all plates would have the cutout. I don't think it would have any (serious) downsides. (or am I wrong?)

desoldering a couple switches > desoldering everything.

Hey WFD, so are you referring to the top of the plate where you cut the space between the Fn keys? If so, I'd prefer to not have this on my plates (non-universal) as I'm thinking you'd see the missing gaps through the keys.

I ordered 2 universal plates and I like your idea because I would not need to unsolder everything
I understand wildcards point of view about seeing the pcb in areas of the numeric row.

should a poll be opened for this?

How this cutout has effect on feel? It's my concern.
I don't like to have the cutout on my any plates, to be honest.

I think many won't need the cutout while people still can cut those beams themselve with decent tool if they need.

So, will it support LEDS?

default i supports esc + wasd + poker arrows and maybe more.
the discussion above is about the addon module that will make it support full led backlighting.
